What would it take for the game to be agressive?

And what about the "rage-effect?" I've heard many people complained, that rage would make the game defensive as well saying "It punishes you for attacking by making the enemy stronger" What do you think?

What would it take for the game to be agressive?

So reducing shields to force the defensive player to read attacks and punish them, rather than shielding. Also something I just came up with. I love how in Smash 4 edge hogging (right spelling?) is removed and everyone can cling to the edge now, but only one time until his invincibility is...

What would it take for the game to be agressive?

Hey Forum, I've heard countless of times now, that the game is considered "defensive" because of it's mechanics. What are these mechanics and what would it take for the game to reward aggresive playstyles? I look forword to hearing from you guys. :3

Q&A Game Play Advice and General Discussion

Hey guys. I have a big, big question. I think I got pivoting narrowed down and I'm fairly decent at it now. I know how to use it in training mode and especially pivit grabs feel natural to me. But how do you actually use pivoting (or other tecniques) during an actual match? Maybe it's just my...

    What should my mains be?

That's what they said about Brawl when it first came out. We have to see how the metagame evolves, whether or not people way more experimantal than me find awesome and useful techs and so on. For now I think I'll stick to Ness and have Mega Man and Fox in the back. By the way thanks to...

    What should my mains be?

Thanks. :] I kinda start liking Fox, I'll have to see, if he's fits. I mean the game is still evolving, so we won't know until quite some time.

    What should my mains be?

Hey forum. I know, the game is really young and fresh and new and we haven't discovered tips and tricks of the game yet. But I'd still like some advice on what character I should pick for my core. My main currently is Ness, I've picked him up recently and really enjoyed playing him, he instantly...

Enough Is Enough. Coaching Needs To Stop.

I'm really new to the scene and didn't think it was a problem. Between the matches I had some time to drink water, look on my phone etc. ... but it really seems to be a problem and I may have a suggestion for that. "In a Best of three, after the first match, both players have the chance to be...

    Perfect Pivot, Foxtrotting, Dashdancing

Pulling off pivot grabs is pretty easy for me, but pivoting in general and especially pivot dancing is pretty impossible for me? Do you guys have any useful tips other than "practise more"? Also is this easier to pull of with a GC controller compared to the Wii U pro controller? Still don't...

    Smash Wii U Controller Setups

Hello there. I've been wondering what Controller Setups you guys use when playing Smash 4. Both Wii U Pro Controller (and the Gamepad for that matter) and Gamecube Controller are fine. Do you use Tap Jump, C-Stick for tilts, different buttons for Sheild, Grab and/or Jumps? I'd really like to...

    Hello, my name is...

Hello there Forum, my name is SirHeru, or you can call me Herman, whatever you prefer. I'm 19 years old and live in Germany. I came to this site to become a better Smash player. I've been playing Smash since the Melee days, but I wasn't good at it...no really, all I knew was Up B and down air...
