    How long does it take to short hop consistantly?

    I probably have a good 15-20 hours accumulated just sitting on fd practicing short hopping and I only have like 75% accuracy. It's almost to the point where I think I'm getting worse the more I practice? What the heck is going on?! Is it the controller? I'm using the newer sm4sh controller...

    ^ The title question Is there really a benefit to fast falling it? Doesn't it actually get more hits in when it is not fast falled? I appreciate any help on this topic

    I was thinking more like, start by going to final destination and do x perfect wave dashes back and forth. then do x to practice parrying. then go to battle field and practice wave lands. etc. but thanks anyway haha

    Trigger Tricking in Dolphin?

    I have the Nintendo WiiU adapter which only allows for direct connect on dolphin. I'm not able to change controller settings as it reads inputs straight from the adapter. Any other ways you know of?

    I'm using a gamecube controller with a Nintendo brand adapter, but holding r down while plugging it down does not seem to get rid of the light shield phase. Is it possible to trigger trick with direct connect in dolphin using the Nintendo adapter?
