Since its next to impossible to find a 3rd party controller thats good, does tournements such as MLG honestly mind if I **** around with my controller. IE, Put lighter springs ont he triggers among other things.

This is a shot of my right hand next to my DS Lite. The official controller just doesnt seem right, I miss combos alot... Maybe its my hand structure or my controller is waring out. Does anyone have any good suggestions for a good 3rd party controller? Thanks.
