  • No promises on my connection, but with only one person using the internet it shouldn't be bad.

Lemme know when you are ready. I'm in a wifi battle, but i should be done soon.
What do you mean by 1 wii?

And I agree, though my list is Family > School > Games.
I tend to have two switches; "video games are all I do" and "Why the heck would I pick up a VIDEO GAME?!" It's a great distraction when you have a week off from school, but its unhealthy as a lifestyle. I know far too well what happens when the former gets in the way from when I was little; video games were all I did when I was young. Sure they were fun, but I missed out on a ton that way. Even though I love being here, forcing myself to take breaks every now and then is a neccesity.

And thanks. As I said, I'm a lot better off line than on line. As much as I'm great with Ness, the second lag hits my PK thunder tends to miss and a lot of the near perfect aiming I have offline I loose instantly. I mean, I guess there is a reason my brother, sister, all my cousins, and all of my friends are afraid to play me.

We should really battle or brawl sometime tonight.
Ah. Part of the problem is that I don't save after every battle in wifi and my Soft reseting for eggs. If I did, my totals would be similar. Plus, I don't goof around in my game; 200 or so of my 300 would be actual game time, the other 100 would be breeding.

Good idea taking the day off. Breeding can be a pain in the neck when you want to do a good job. For pokemon like that, I almost find it easier to catch a bunch with a syncronizer rather than breed as I did with my zong. If only they were found wild in a place other than the Safari Zone.

Things are going great right now, but I feel like I got a life to get back to. I really was only in the mood to battle some people (and recover from my failed attempts at the battle frontier) and call it a day and I did that. I'll try and be a little less sparse about coming back, but I got a feeling it won't be in as active as a role.
Happy Birthday, man. I hope you're feeling better :p

So you're 18. Go buy some lotto tickets, cigarettes, and some porn.
I know the feeling. For Magmortar (who has a similar gender + evolving problem), I easily went through hundreds of magbys to get two great magbys with X/X/X/31/31/31.
You could always trade for one. I mean, I never use a pokemon I didn't train myself, but if you are desperate...
If it weren't for SR + Swampert roar and my starmie/magmortar, my team would be decimated by both Gyara and mence. For some reason I feel Gyara and Kingdra will replace DD mence, while Dnite will either take on mixed varients or use a much more bulky version of a standard DD.
Scizor won't go to uber. Unlike mence, it can be shut down by a lot of things. If his goes down, though, TTar usage might spike as a result. I also see a slight drop in usage for most other steel types. Lucario, heracross, and gyarados will see increased usage since they are no longer outsped by the prominent dragon type. That's all I can think of.
I'm seeing mence going away, too. It's power, super high usage, and unpredictability make it a pain in the meta game to deal with and is gonna get uber banned.

It will be interesting to see how the metagame adjusts. I think Dragonite will take Mence's place in usage, while Kingdra and flygon will get small boosts in usage. I don't know much else off the top of my head.
Porygon2 is also the only bona fide counter, too. It's gonna be a love hate thing if it happens. 1) I don't have to deal with mence anymore but 2) Dragonite and Kingdra usage will rise. Not to mention I'll have to retire my mence.

I'm a little suprised why smogon would question mence. It nowhere nearly centralizes the game like Garchomp and scizor did and do (though you can shut scizor down). One thing, though; mence will hate ubers as much as Garchomp.
Mence might be getting the boot? I really have been long gone from smogon. I can see why though...

Good luck with the Lucario. Shame good already EVd and IV bred pokes are hard to come by.
Riolus are a pain to breed. Not only are females hard to find, but they won't breed with anything (which, considering the evolution style).

Gyara isn't that hard. Heck, I believe I have a Feebas/Kingdra with max attack and Speed IVs if you really got desperate.
I usually run Bronzong (I know, super outdated lead), Swampert (secondary and more important lead), Tyranitar, Jirachi, Flygon/Salamence, and Starmie/Magmortar. I tend to stick with this team (though changing the pokemon in the slashes) as it seems to give me the most success. I don't even know how to classify this team. Super offensive sandstorm with bulky tank-like sweepers? Operation desert storm?
The one time I take random pokemon in is the one time I lose. I have about 22 EVs, but only about 10 that are IV bred as well.

    We should definitely battle sometime.
It's a nice touch, though. I don't plan on ever breeding HP again.

So I take it you must have a stellar wifi team?
Nor do I. About this time last year, I wanted to try an anti lead of sorts and, since project moltres was canned pretty quick, HP ice Magmortar filled the role. It's alright as a lead; thunderbolt means I free up having to deal with non-swampert water types, and fire blast is fire blast (though I might change to overheat since I usually stick with Tbolt for reliability). What stinks is that A) I have to use Focus miss to even hope to deal with leadtars and B) HP ice only helps when used late game. It was an amazing breed, but it feels like a huge waste of time for the use it gets...
I know. A_Man basically handed by *** to me when we battled...
My friends and I are Semi competative. We mainly just EV train, Nature breed, and semi IV breed. Stealth Rock is unheard of for us.
I'm just starting to get into "Professional" pokemon. EVs, IVs, and whatnot. I'm going by Serebii. According to Serebii, Dancetar is beast.
