IX was fantastic. As in, it's my favorite game in the entire franchise.

AssCreed 1 isn't worth your time but the sequel is awesome. Once you get Valk and RoF you should tell me how they are because I'm thinking about getting them.

As for God of War... I really didn't like them at first but they grew on me. If you like Devil May Cry or Beyonetta you might like them.

And please don't waste your time on FF8, seriously, it isn't worth it.

Yeah, I played Star Fox 64 for the first time about a year ago and I really liked it. I thought that Assault was better but that's all up to opinion. Either way, that guy is pretty much, as you said, a nostalgia freak.

I've never really seen a Wii in HD so I don't know about that.

I haven't played Dragon Age but from what I've heard it's pretty open, like most of Bioware's games.

Yeah, Kupo15 is like THE definitive retro elitist. I mean, yeah it's fun to muse over games you played as a kid every once and a while but that guy takes it to a whole new level. Sometimes I actually try not to play games I liked as a kid in fear that the crashing realization that said game actually sucked will come upon me.

I once tried to main Mewtwo. That was one of the most lolerific moments of my Smash career.

I do agree that older FFs tend to be better. Mostly because the newer ones run into problems due to trying too hard (FFXIIs board, anyone?) Speaking of Kupo15, I've got a debate to get to, can't wait to be treated like some "hardcore" Xbox gamer who only likes multiplayer if it's online just because I think the game didn't age well.

Yeah, I know that JPRGs are linear compared to their western counterparts but XIII is just going to far. As a friend of mine said, "the game's practically on-rails." I just hope that Versus XII doesn't suck and that XV brings the franchise up to speed. Although at this point I'd rather a completely different franchise did what FF7 did back in '97 so that way FF can stop hogging the JRPG spot light.

I never liked the Tales games. Then again, the only one I've played was Symphonia so I might be misjudging. But really, I do agree with you on Square. Seriously, the last few titles they've put out have gotten less than favorable reviews because they're still trying to mark RPGs like it's 2001. A game needs to come along that modernizes and re-popularizes JRPGs, I swear.

Yeah, GE64 is pretty bad by today's standards. And even though I love FF1 to death I'll gladly admit that it's all nostalgia and that the game is a directionless POS game by today's standards.

Well, I will say Namco has done okay this generation. Tales of Vesperia is pretty nice, I wish it still would be ported to the PS3. Square Enix ix definitely struggling right now, though. All they need to do is LISTEN TO THE FANS.

SO4 actually is noted for having a lot of fanservice, though, which is why I might get it.

Anyways, it runs very similar, you team up online to take down big monsters. It's strategic and fun, and it sucks if your like me and love the Long Sword. Because if you hit your friend/players online, with any weapon, they get knocked back. So you have to be careful. And with Long Sword, it's like being Mewtwo. You're good, but you have to be careful.
Scratch that, Mewtwo sucks.

It's more like.. I can kick extreme butt but I have to think real hard XD Makes it fun though.

Also, I know that guy is crazy. I actually like a lot of modern games.

SMG2 was a masterpiece, GE64 does suck now, it aged about as bad as FF1.

There is also FFX, Dragon Age, Infamous, pretty much all the ps3 games I'm getting, etc.

And by the way, DO NOT get Drakengard. It's bad. ****ed up storyline, but it sucks.

I can get a used copy of the game for $30 where I live. How's the online? I heard it's similar to PSO.

The entire Disgaea franchise just looks like a pile of generic JRPG nonsense to me. Although I've never played one so I could be wrong. But really, it's a shame that JRPGs have hit an all time low in terms of quality this generation. Sure, handhelds get a few good ones but consoles have just been screwed over.

Yeah, I've gotten into debates before with Kupo15. The guy acts like any game that came out after the Dreamcast is an absolute abomination.

They have a few copies of Draken Guard down at a local games store for eight bucks. Is it worth it?

Don't bother recommending me Star Oceon, I really didn't like Second Story or Til the End of Time. But Infamous was awesome if you're into comics like I am. Even if you aren't, the game play is fantastic.

As for MHT, I didn't really like the ones on the PSP. Is it any different?

Games with WiiMotion Plus compatability should be listed right on the cover box / back cover. Any game that was released before the WiiMotion Plus (Metroid Prime, etc.) shouldn't be able to. You could attach it to the Wiimote, but that's the extent of it.

The Star Breaker is the weaker of the two super weapons, I just seem to remember in the Bonus Dungeon that The machine gun seemed much more useful than hte Supernova(Beam).

I always perfered rapid fire as it usually racks up more damage within a set time than beams. Also if you get the Critical special synthesized on it it becomes kick a$$
