    Melee Mod for Competitive Play

Well competitive tournaments are illegal as well. It's considered gambling. But that doesn't stop the community from doing it anyway. Nintendo isn't interested in alienating its fans. And they wouldn't care about a silly Melee mod unless we were selling copies of it.

    Melee Mod for Competitive Play

This is the exact reason that I think Melee should be modded. The addition of new stages and the tournament viability of low tier characters would bring more excitement to the community. Obviously it would be nice if Nintendo made a Melee 2.0.

    Melee Mod for Competitive Play

I just thought that this might be a cool idea that might make Melee tournaments a bit more refreshing. Several things that could happen. 1.) New Stages 2.) Improvement of Low Tiers 3.) Improvement of Stages (no fish at Jungle Japes) Would anyone think this could revitalize Melee...

    New New MA Player Finder

As long as this player finder is for melee, add me back to the list. - RedSoxFan, Peach, AIM - RedSocksFan3, Car (currently at college in Worcester) I'm kinda bummed that the player finder no longer has the super awesome color-coding that mine had. Do you want me to give you the BB code?

New MA Player Finder: Post Your Contact Info to Meet Local Smashers

Someone might want to copy this player directory and make a new thread for Brawl... I've lost interest in smash and won't be updating this thread any longer.

New MA Player Finder: Post Your Contact Info to Meet Local Smashers

Never played CS. I'm not that great either. I just got into FPS games. TF2 and HL2 were my first FPS games I really liked.

New MA Player Finder: Post Your Contact Info to Meet Local Smashers

Welcome to the smash community. I'll add you to the contact list. One a side note though... Plasma TVs are pretty cool, except that a vast majority of them tend to lagg quite a bit. However some of the newer plasma TVs don't have this problem as much if you hook it up with a component...

Should SSBB be less technical then SSBM?

Yeah that's exactly what I said. Except that you are looking at it as being good. Who would want to play a game where one person has every chess piece and the other is down a queen and a rook? Advanced techs are fine, so long as they aren't overly difficult to perform. What it boils down to is...

Should SSBB be less technical then SSBM?

Well I'm glad you decided to make a chess analogy. Because now I can make a counter chess analogy. I feel that chess is a simple game. Everyone knows how the pieces move. It's not complicated. Anyone can learn HOW to move their pieces. But it takes a long time to learn when to move them. I...

Should SSBB be less technical then SSBM?

Peach does have things that are pretty hard to do technically. You can think about her moves being easy, but when you put everything together it gets technical. Dash dance -> Float canceled nair: A little hard. Just dash dance, then Hold X, flick down and hit A. With no practice and trying...

Should SSBB be less technical then SSBM?

As someone said above. Games can be simple, but have a lot of depth. If you look at Melee now, there are still people who are miles above everyone else. And pretty much everyone has pretty similar technical skill. For a few years people like Ken and Isai were miles above everyone else...
