I wouldn't have minded customs, but the grind to unlock is impressively awful. Has anything changed since the game came out in terms of unlocking? I was willing to unlock stages and characters, but the customs aren't worth the time investment. I'm trying to play the game, not waste my life away.

This game isn't dying, people are just in the lab figuring things out. The console game just got released. Also, it's the holidays. A lot of people are probably working or finishing finals or visiting family, etc. I'm in Socal, and the PM group over here thinks attendance is dying b/c of Smash...

Maybe the OP phrased it badly or typed the title wrong, I think he's solely talking about single player mode, which I have to agree, really sucks. Personally the worst out of all smash games in terms of single player. My favorite was 64 smash single player, with each new smash being less "fun"...

For the ±18° notch mod, would i get the same results if I just the put them in the exact center of the unmodded notches? I'm assuming not just to be safe. Would be neat and save a little time. Don't have a protractor currently to determine on my own.

Does momentum carry over from running when you jump? Or in other words, can you do a running jump?

I also don't trust whether the beam change is completely optional. If it were completely optional, we could very well say it's unnecessary... :( But if it's something that's considered a real part of her tools, like ph00tbag said, we can't just play her like her melee self and expect to play her...

eh, sorry. He definitely needed some speed buffs compared to his melee self. I was thinking of an earlier developer build from before 2.6 that I really liked. Or maybe it was 2.0? I can't remember if kirby has been playable yet. I'm generally of the camp of less is more. If his recovery sucks...

After watching the trailer for 3.0, I doubt this game will be for me. I'll play it with my group, and will enjoy it, but I cant see myself invested enough to play it at tournaments or practice it solo. Not that I'm totally invested in Melee. I hardly go to tournaments now, and wasn't...

I agree with a lot of ph00tbag ideas. The beams seem kind of like an unneeded addition. I always felt like Samus was such a subtle character, who didn't really need more things, just an alteration of properties. Also, adding things does add depth, but not all depths are equal. This beam thing...

I was pretty annoyed seeing this cutter dash or whatever. I remember posting somewhere being worried they're going to make Kirby faster and have more movement stuff before this new trailer. Kirby doesn't need to be faster. I think a lot of characters don't need to be faster, but whatever.

I don't like hearing that people that suck at Melee would like PM. I suck super hard at melee, don't main fox (but to fun to play), and still prefer it. Yeah, I like that it's easier to short hop with fox by one frame in PM, I like being able to short hop with the cast without trouble, but kind...
