    And while working on that I'm trying to think of a good situation for Dimensional Cape attack mindgamez.

    I just asked my mom and she said it'd probably be ok.

    And that'd be awesome to get some matches recorded. I'd love to have some matches of my own to study and see what I need to improve on, and to post in a critique thread.

    Like come over on Friday and my parents pick me up on Saturday at World 2-2? Maybe. I'd love to, but I don't know if my mom would be willing to drive me all the way over there. But if she is, definitely.

    I want to play against real(/good) people too... Rec Room scrubs and computers just... well aren't good.

    Haven't had a chance to play it. I just got it, and since I got home from Texas my dad has been down-stairs playing the PS3.

    Kinda. Bootmii is a hack that sorta replaces the Wii menu as long as you have the SD card inserted.

    So I can turn on the system and select Wii menu (which I'll need a Wii remote for) or select Homebrew Channel.

    Oh and I just got SFIV so I'll be playing that some.

    Funny story. I accidently left my Wii remote at my house for the whole trip, so I wasn't able to edit any of my settings. I was only able to play games by loading them through BootMii-Homebrew Channel-Gecko OS.

    Nintendo fails so hard for requiring a Wii remote to do ANYTHING on the Wii. You should just be able to use GC controller.

    Thank god for hacks.

    I REALLY wanna go to R3, but I doubt I could get a ride and housing. My parents aren't comfortable with me staying with other people that they don't know, so I most likely won't be able to stay anywhere.

    And I can likely go to World 2-2.

    Ahh I'm so glad to be back home. Two day train ride is a pain...

    Although this time I sat right next to this really pretty and nice girl (I think she was like my brother's age), and I had some outlets to plug stuff into, so it wasn't all bad.

    Huh... I guess that's a problem with MK. All of his attacks have laser/transcendent priority so they don't clank with, or interact with anything other than hurtboxes.

    I think I could do that with PSA lol.

    I might try and help with this, since I can do most of that kind of stuff on PSA (you know, the making stuff uber good :p).

    Oh nice. You couldn't play as Wario, either.

    You should check out Brawl-. Imo it's pretty awesome. It's motto is "If it's broken, break it more until it's fixed" .It went the SSB64 route of balancing stuff :p Also, when CF lands a knee he yells "YESZ" XD

    Yeah it says that Raz is my rival and that he's beaten my twice...

    But he's only beaten me once and that was at Smashtoberfest. It says he was in my pools at AG (but he wasn't. Remember when I said my pools were screwy :p)

    I don't see how you CAN'T notice the lag... I was getting ***** by computers. I couldn't power shield stuff.

    Ironically, though, I was able to do the SHDL with Falco perfectly lol

    Oh **** that must've sucked for him. Kirby vs best (or top 3, anyway) Marth in the world?

    God I wish I could've gone. Instead I spent 48 hours on a train ride from SoCal to Texas lol.

    How did you do at Geeks? And did you play as any character other than Luigi?

    So I'm in Dallas now at my grandparent's house. They don't have any normal TVs, only plasmas. So I hook up SSBB and start playing. Jesus there is so much input lag. A good 3-4 frames at least.

    It doesn't sound like much, but it feels like someone went into PSA and made all of the characters jumps finally leave the ground after a tenth of a second.

    And I can't CG at all.

    Oh well, I brought some GC games and I have my GBC Zeldas on my Wii that I haven't beaten yet.

    Why play as Kirby when you can play MK?

    MK = Kirby - feet + mask + sword + brokeness

    And MK is just a better Marth :p

    If MK got banned I'd probably go back to Kirby, or learn Marth, I think.

    Ugh if everyone switches to MK and the metagame gets overcentralized, he's gonna get banned lol...

    I watched the replay like 100 times, it definitely doesn't look normal o_o;

    Yeah, I got the replay, it might have just been the last hitbox, but it looks like he's in his falling animation...

    What...? But that's... that can't be right.... There's no hitbox then except the big one immediately as tornado ends...

    Did you get a replay of it, by chance?

    So I just downloaded the pac for hacked Brawl that shows me exactly where all of MKs hitboxes are. And I learned a few things.

    Utilts range = O_o

    Dairs hitbox is the exact same on both sides of MK. So even though it looks like there's more range behind him, there isn't.

    Dtilt has more range than the first hit of Ftilt, and the hitbox comes out on the third frame...

    And looking at the hitboxes... Whorenado really doesn't look so broken.

    I think I might be able to space a little better now :p

    Oh and pivot grabs are stupid.

    Whose ******* idea was it to put a whole extra hitbox bubble for a pivot grab?

    Yeah there are.

    I wish I could go to R3, but I don't think my parents would give me a ride to NorCal :p

    Oh and I'm watching the Yugioh abridged series.

    Yeah. And Utilt is underrated. You can land so many hits with Utilt because the hitbox usually lasts a while and can sometimes beat spot dodges/air dodges.

    And no one expects an Fsmash either. Sometimes I'd just stand and charge an Fsmash, and they'd walk right into it expecting me to attack with it, then hit them with a full charged Fsmash :p

    If someone doesn't expect it, Dthrow > dash attack > Utilt > stuff can be really good.

    My mom isn't willing to wake up at 7:30 AM to pick me up at your house to make it to the train on time :(

    I wish I could go so bad, though.

    Maybe I can stay at your house for a day or two and go to a tourney in December.

    Oh but in a few of the friendlies I learned something...

    Drill Rush seriously isn't bad.

    It's punishable... if you don't get hit by it (or shield it).

    It pokes shields crazy good, has amazing priority, etc.

    I had some fun in a couple of the friendlies. Probably learned more from one person being able to see my style and habits a lot more than playing a huge variety of people.

    And met some cool people.

    But the tourney itself (or what was intended to be a tourney, anyway) was awful.

    And NO ONE expects it.

    Sky yelled at the dude "running" the Brawl tourney for a while and the guy said he'd refund us, but I never got my money back (Idk about anyone else).

    I feel more sorry for Sky. He drove a couples hours from friggin' NorCal to come to this.

    Wow... AG was SOOOOOO BAD.

    So Rej tells us to get there at 10:00 AM and tourney starts at 11:00 AM. So I get up at 7:30 so that we can get there on time, get there and meet a few people there.

    So they tell the Street Fighter players to go in first, then Tekken players, then Blazblue players to go in. Ohh bad sign, they don't even ACKNOWLEDGE Brawl players. So we finally get to go in at ONE IN THE AFTERNOON (three hours after the time we were supposed to be there, and two hours after it was supposed to start). Once we get in, we find out that a ****ing dance class is holding us up and we can't start Brawl until 3:30.

    Then they end up cancelling the Brawl tourney, AND DIDN'T REFUND US OUR MONEY. Almost everyone left to go to http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=7565, but one guy had brought a set-up and a few people (5 or 6) stayed for a while and played friendlies.

    Coulda paid $8 to go to the Pasadena tourney and played friendlies against multiple people and entered a tournament, but instead paid $20 to wait around for 5 hours and play some friendlies against the same people for a few hours on one set.

    It's not a COMPLETE waste; because I was able to play the same people over and over again and they could point out my habits and such and I could try and work on that.

    Awful, awful, awful.

    See, though, I CAN'T... I always end up getting hit by the last hit of BAir when I shield it.

    And his smashes and such **** me up. ALL of the charging animations being the EXACT SAME until the hitbox animation stays out and NEVER CHANGES? That always screws me up.

    There's still a few matchups I feel uncomfortable with (G&W (I hate this matchup so much... as both MK AND ICs), Diddy (****ing 'nanners :p), and Falco). I'm afraid I'm gonna **** up and not win any matches...

    Too bad you're not going to Triple Threat. We could do mroe Snake vs MK friendlies.

    The Snake vs MK matchup is so much fun, imo.

    I just thought of something.

    When I'm in Texas for Thanksgiving there will probably be better internet. So I could I could bring my Wii and SSBB and do online stuffs (even though I hear the online is terrible), and we could do online friendlies :p

    So I was playing against a level 9 Luigi as Olimar. At the beginning of the match I grab him, but he does his NAir and it breaks for some reason, then I get FAir'd > spike DAir'd off the ledge to my death.

    It was freaken ridiculous lol.

    How did you do? Tink players are soooo boring to watch. Atleast Santi is (he's the only Tink I've watched :P).

    Oh and apparently Tyrant, DEHF, and Havok got top 3.

    Seriously SoCal Power Rankings needs to bump Havok up to like 3rd; because he's been placing crazy well at EVERY tourney lately.
