Do a speedtest on your home internet. I'd say your internet speed is too slow but without numbers, no idea.

Link doesn't have Marth's speed and his moveset is one of the most predicable ones in the game. His attacks have too much windup.

Smash4 doesn't have its own meta yet. It took Melee a few years to become awesome, same with Smash4. Game/rules will eventually adapt to be hype.

Hey! Smash 3DS is great, definitely one of the best portable fighting games ever made. I'm new here as well so I'm glad you're joining me here on Smashboards.

Buttons are easier to short hop with in my opinion so I tend to use them. If for some reason I'm playing with my Neo-Geo fight stick I'll use Tap Jump due to not having enough buttons, but usually with a Gamecube controller, button jumping is my preference.

Auto L-Canceling would definitely help me with playing the game. Triggers are hard for my toes to reach so anything to lessen that load is appreciated. I know I can remap buttons to my liking however with L-Canceling an auto option would be awesome even if it is not recognized in competitive play.
