Hello! I'm I play Melee with my feet and recently I realized that if I want to be competitive, I need to be able to map shield to a face button since reaching the triggers with my toes is difficult. If I modded a Gamecube Controller, I'd like X to become either L or R hardshield. Although research shows this isn't possible?
Currently, I enjoy playing Melee on Dolphin since I can remap buttons, but I'd like to play with others at locals. I was also considering a controller adapter but controller adapters for the Gamecube-era seem rare. Or maybe I could use an arcade stick? Any ideas would be awesome! Thanks smash community.
