So the 3rd party classic pro controllers came in today and they are a pleasant surprise. I paid ~15 for the both of them and might end up enjoying them more than I originally did w/ the GC controller. Button wise they function just as great as the official classic controller but the better grip...

I think it's one of the main reasons I play at my friends and why we come play together. Since online its not an option, we just all sit behind a single screen and destroy each other in a chaotic frenzy. Sure there will be the one or two elitists that ruin it, but the fact there are 6 others...

Hi all, I recently got myself a wii u and a copy of smash bros for wii u (which is one of the main reasons I finally picked up the system). I've had all the smash systems (64, GC, wii) and games for them, but lost smash for 64 at some point and ditched melee for quite a while once I picked up...

What about the classic (pro) controllers? They aren't that expensive and the right stick and buttons are in the proper places. Only issue is left stick placement which once you get used to (which is rather quick) only throws off your elite taunt game :D I can't stand to by the wii u pro...
