phoenix and gumshoe should be a last pick seeing as how its a fighting game. deadpool and dante would be good if their shooting ability wasn't spammable. I still stand by Resi characters and power stone being a must. also king arthur would be hilarious, ghosts n goblins needs a comeback.

So I think I have decided what I will be going as... somewhat. I was thinking Chris RE1, also Chris RE5, still haven't decided on a third though. also I will have to figure out how to get a shirt like chris's in RE5. It sucks how you hate RE seeing as how I have like 5 or more people joining me as RE characters and I know of other people planning to go as them too.

Month and a half?! How long's the game been out? I thought it was still fairly new--I guess that's what happens when you count the days for another game.

I wouldn't mind getting destroyed for a few matches if it means learning stuff that I can own my friend with. I'm not sure how my connection is though... I've played 3 Randoms online and they all had a bit of delay, but I don't know. We can always give it a shot, I'll just have to find you on AIM. I'll be busy tomorrow and most of Saturday and Sunday... maybe Saturday evening or Monday, not sure.

Hm... sounds pretty mind boggling but I'm sure I could get used to it after a while. My friend and I are still in the "watch others in youtube" state and learning how long of combos we can pull off with two different characters teamed up. We've occasionally pulled off a short burst of Baroques before, but we don't know how. The only thing I know is that you need red in your health bar, and it depletes it.

As for using partners in combos, I was kindof discouraged from doing that because in Arcade Mode (hardest setting) my buddy would get the heck comboed out of him every time I tried calling him in. But that's probably because I don't know how to use it yet, I guess I'll have to toy with it some more.

I love launching enemies and pulling off air raids in that game, and it probably defines my style. It's how I try to pull off 60% of my combos because it's so satisfying. I first learned it with Ken the Eagle + Tekkaman Blade. (I don't how to read button inputs like true fighter veterans) but my favorite combo was (starting with Ken):
Punch - Punch - Kick - Launch - (jumps in air) - Punch - Kick - Aerial Raid (Blade) - Kick - Kick - Special

I use the Wiimote... for now... which is why it isn't that complicated. After my friend and I found out how much better the GCN controller is (but much more difficult), we're trying to make a switch. It's gonna take a while.

Somethin' like that. The game is beautiful.

Anyways, that would be awesome. If you thought previous Monster Hunters held potential, you might wanna give Monster Hunter 3 a second look, as the developers themselves claim to have rebuilt the game from ground up. I've played the demo, and it definitely does feel better than the old MH games, but that just might be my fan-based bias. Like Reese's, I could tell the difference between Reese's Cups Original, and Reese's Cup Classic.

I'm not sure about Canada, but I believe it's the same, but the release date is this April 20th if you're keeping an eye on it. If you choose to pick up the game, then I already know about 5 people to start questing online with on the spot, lol. Someone else just contacted me on this site that I used to know 3 years ago from the original Monster Hunter online.


By the way, I have Tatsunoko vs CAPCOM. My best (which doesn't say much) are Ken the Eagle, Tekkaman Blade, Zero, Karas, and Soki. The game is incredible, but I've been so hooked on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition lately....
