    Lagondorf is such a nightmare. WiFi Yoshi is quite annoying too. I have yet to truly experience Mac offline, none of my friends here play Mac well, but I love watching it. Honestly, I've been playing online more than offline because my local friends do not play competitively.

    Yeah, WiFi Ganondorf is probably Top Tier. The difference is truly enormous.

    Offline, I can react to everything that Ganondorf does, and he's pretty much lower mid tier. Nothing he has is safe against a decent reaction time.

    Playing online does make you better at playing offline, though. Adaptation is the best skill to work on.

    Offline > online is a weird transition. I'm generally surprised how well my play translates though considering how much of my game hinges on reactive defense and a frame 5 punish option. Adaptation and creativity/situational play. Variety is the spice of life.

    Seems like it doesn't have great knockback growth. My Rage barely matters.

    Which is exactly the kind of move that Pikachu wanted, because his problem is getting kills at low Rage.

    I do think it's way overtuned, though. It feels really unfair that I can get it off so easily. The risk is just getting dash grabbed, which isn't bad against most characters. It should have more lag or something, idk.

    I haven't played around with it yet amidst all the talk, but it does sound out of place on Pikachu. Maybe have Pika go into special fall on whiff so it's risky to use offstage and nerfs his recovery in theory, but doesn't actually do much in practice. The risk/reward just seems too skewed for a character like Pika off stage (I guess it's like Pika's version of bouncing fish).

    That's cool, I've played for most of my life as well. I haven't played Bravely Default, so that's why I didn't recognize the song.

    Classic. I haven't been there in a long time. I haven't played Bravely Default either outside of the demo... I logged ~10 hours on. When I decide to actually pay fora game, it's what I'm really looking forward to getting. It's very reminiscent of the Final Fantasy game of the 90's, but with a revamped battle system and a fantastic artistic touch to it.

    No. I need to. It's a weird name but it makes so much sense. It's the standard turn based system and FF style music/template but it updates it. There's a lot of "default" but it boldly pushes that default format.

    But I've been too cheap and too busy. :(

    Eh, it's fine. I haven't gotten a new game in forever either (just bought Earthbound on VC last night via Club Nintendo) since im saving up for a capture card. I plan on getting Tales of Xillia 2 and KH 2.5 when the prices drop to $20 at like Gamestop or something. It doesn't help that i seriously want a Shulk and Ness amiibo so bad now. Gah.

    I havent seen the movie yet, but I was Jack last year. I love the musical, and putting it on was probably the most fun I'll ever have on stage.

    I need to fight a good Mega Man! I don't have much experience with the MU outside of a couple games with some random Mega Mains I found on a stream. Would be nice to see how Kirby can use the Metal Blades. If you're down, do you have a Skype?

    Hey Locke, i saw your signature, and i figure, i may not as skilled as you are, but i think i could probably give you some pointers on how to use Fox, Lucario, Palutena and Pit well, considering i use them often on the side. Same goes for Marth, since one of your early statuses seems to show that you might have an interest in him.

    That would be awesome. I'd like both of those very much. I've recently taken an interest in Samus, but I haven't developed a clear game plan with her yet. And I have yet to face a good Palutena, so that should be eye opening as well. Probably won't be playing too much as the holidays approach, but I'm looking forward to some matches against characters I never see.

    Yeah I just always liked Samus in Melee and almost always played her if I wasn't playing Mewtwo. I hated how bad she was in Brawl but was pleasantly surprised with her Smash 4 outing!

    Yeah, I think I'm pretty set on Marth ahead of Samus. Which is kind of sad, because I'm a much bigger Metroid fan than I am Fire Emblem (haven't played Awakening yet, but I'm in the middle of Sacred Stones on an emulator... but then Smash Bros came along).
