I know it's still too far in the future.... But, which characters that had strong presence and support during Ultimate's life cycle lost significant steam/momentum? And you don't expect them to recover in the next speculation cycle? How about vice versa? Which characters have still maintained...

"Finish the Fight." is too good tagline to miss the last slot... But, I wonder how Nintendo would view. Nintendo still greatly cares more about its home market. I don't know how much they would be hesitant to add someone who isn't big in Japan at the end of pass.

I'm pretty sure Lara is still relevant with another Tomb Raider on the line and anime. Just because her games was released bit long ago doesn't diminish her status that easily.

Realistic firearm isn't issue at all. ESRB rating of Smash Ultimate specifically mentions firearm. And before you say they don't mean 'realistic' firearm, there is no content descriptor for realistic firearm. Heck, there isn't any of this in other game rating agency. GTA won't get fighters...

Sakurai is wrapping up his youtube activity by uploading video of compiled version of all lessons. It's shame that he is ending this. As much as I enjoyed his character presentation, I've enjoyed his lesson videos just as much if not more.

Halo did way more than just multiplayer. It literally defined modern shooters. Regenerating health, modern shooter controller schematic, two weapon system, separate buttons for grenade and melee. If you say these were done before Halo, I can say the same to Doom.

I think you are underselling 2B's chance. She got everything going for her. Global popularity including Japan. Relevancy. She will be the frontrunner from Square Enix. Censoring her wouldn't be too difficult.
