  • My Layazero is now at 272000 (well the first three numbers are correct). Favorite planet -> good score, lol.

Hevendor CPU is easy. Gravitas is still hard. Screw Gravitas.
It makes me thing that "Jet" is actually vertical...
But the Jet Time value messes that up.

    WHAT IS THIS
    You woke that early? ololol

Lastar has really weird gravity; the initial verticals are really weak, but followups are strong. It's the opposite for horizontal launches (although they do get more powerful again over time).
Well I call it the "eye". It's absent on Hevendor/Geolyte/Vubble/stuff.

"First Num" is probably the first secondary shot of a stack, which is why Hotted's second launch is so strong. Since the latter Num Shot is 0 (no change), the ridiculous N Jet Bonus makes the jets suck after the second one.
    Hey Stinkshot

On all Globin artwork the middle thing is the same color as the body
But in the game it's more red.
Eh, I've got a high score on Globin of about 190,000 points.

Gravitas and Hevendor for sure.
    HAIII
"Hoser" is a Canadian term, so I didn't know it.
    Yes, I'm ignorant. :p
I thought we thought "Jet" was the horizontal launch multiplier, lol.

But then why is Vubble's so low DDD:

    CONFUSINGGGGGGGG
I'd agree, but there's two values for Num Shot. My guess is that both Num Shot and N Jet Bonus have an effect.

Lump looks like something that they were going to implement but nixed it after a few planets.
Or there's something special about Bavoom, Jeljel, and Oleana.
Check Meteos spreadsheet if you can, I'd like to talk about Num Shot stuff
Brabbit is subtitled "Gas Party", so...
The Soul is from the people that get high off of the fumes.
    You wanna know why?

That's your own soul. It has left your body and has entered the playing field.
    So you DIE.
    ANNIHILATION
    For sure.

When I got to that one point, I'm like "screw this" and that's when I ended. Plus the planet's slow launch speed combined with its fast reconstitution rate throws me off, lulz.
    Here are my Deluge scores:

    Geolyte: 414730
    Firim: 249390
    Oleana: 463310
    Anasaze: 548060
    Grannest: 147030
    Vubble: 143840
    Florias: 252020
    Meteo: 226030
    Bavoom: 216690
    Megadom: 107810
    Layazero: 252460
    Lastar: 397880
    Wiral: 226580
    Forte: 299690
    Jeljel: 406900
    Freaze: 274460
    Yooj: 316940
    Cavious: 307840
    Gravitas: 127230
    Thirnova: 285930
    Starrii: 374930
    Mekks: 257860
    Boggob: 163550
    Dawndus: 731410
    Suburbion: 212540
    Wuud: 394440
    Gigagush: 124670
    Brabbit: 513000
    Hotted: 154820
    Globin: 167630
    Luna=Luna: 164950
    Hevendor: 98680

Gotta work on some of them lol
I don't think they were expecting people to perservere long enough to do some of what it can do.

It's not QUITE as useful in multiplayer due to the relatively fast reconstitution rate, but still.

Also apparently some people couldn't figure out how to clear the screen when the game first came out lol
That had to be rather boring.

FUN FACT: all planets that supply you with Glow (not just at the beginning) also give you time. The inverse is not true for Dark and Soul, however.
Scoring stuff is in the group noob, it's certainly incomplete though.

Apparently Dawndus, despite its quick death rate, is really good for scoring.

Most of yours are higher than mine (lulz 7 million Brabbit), but (off the top of my head) I know my Geolyte, Layazero, and Suburbion are higher, the last two due to my like of the planets.

And how'd you keep Brabbit going for so long? I got to a point where the thrust was barely enough to keep the stack afloat. :x
Also I got some scoring stuff up
Rare Metals are crazy good for your score
Double Blind: Both teams choose their planets (Brabbit is banned) in secret so there is no influence.
Stock: Matches are set to 5-star Difficulty with Lives set to 6.
Launches: Teams discuss among themselves who will target from their side, and which opponent will be targeted. This is done in Double Blind format as well. This prevents overpowered picking on the "weak" planet while still adding depth.

Counterpicking: The winners first decide amongst themselves who will change planet, if at all. Then, the losers counter that with their own. Without a blind, the winners decide their target plan, and then the losers decide thereafter. If this isn't mutually felt to be enough of a counterpick, the loser can turn on a single item of their choice, one per teammate, and they will be the only ones that can spawn. Likewise, they can force the opponent to have an item spawn on their side instead.

The sets are Bo3, Bo5 finals. Remember that Stocks are shared and this function cannot be removed.

Again, Brabbit is banned. This planet is far too overcentralising, as it requires a quick off-the-bat offensive strike to take down.

Should I post this in the Social Thread for kicks?

Looks good to me, although I'm pretty sure that the stuff in Game Level Parameters is harder on 5-star than in Deluge; I don't think that any one of them fits it perfectly though, lol. Definitely post it in the social thread.

Also what do you think about a planet "tier list"? Obviously that depends somewhat on the player style though.
Which is a very good thing.
Now we just need to figure out what it all means.
And if the min/max has some places in between (probably not).

I was wondering where the Accelerator fit in to all of that data, though.

Oh, look at the Meteos instruction booklet; there's a misprint on mine in which it labels "Forte" as "Wiral" and vice versa.
Eh I'll take a look at some of it later. :p

According to the Japanese website, you needed half the Meteos to fuse a rare metal than in the English version.

Do you know what the max time parameter is? "16500" isn't very specific.
The rare metal thing destroying the stack doesn't annoy me as much as the inherent urgency to get it. I lose my cool and die much more often at times when I usually wouldn't.

What is the extra Geolyte for/from? Tutorial maybe?

And I noticed the Time War Layazero has a longer max time parameter-- or at least, it seems to.
You probably know that only initial vertical launches on Vubble don't give any thrust then; after that they do stuff.

It's just nice to have another person who likes Meteos to talk to about the game lol
Yeah that's what it would seem. You can combine several launches together, though.
Grannest still seems hard to clear the screen on (well harder than most). Megadom's launches get successively weaker, something which, I think, is unique (under Jet Parameters "N Jet Bonus" it's the only one with a bonus lower than 1 except for Hevendor, but that doesn't matter anyway). Although, I noticed, when I somehow created one stack on Hotted it wouldn't launch. x_x.

And what is with Firim's "300s" under the Limit Parameters? Bizarre.
I can't keep track of everything going on in Gigagush and Grannest can eventually turn into a giant block of ash. Maybe that has to do with my style of play, though, which is "make a giant block and launch it". That's also why I hate Megadom. :x

Geolyte's got a really lenient gravity scheme, and Freaze... I dunno. Suburbion seems to fit the profile though of a fast-paced, powerful planet.

    Also, in straight Star Trip:
    1. Geolyte, Firim, Oleana, Anasaze
    2. Bavoom, Freaze, Grannest, Boggob, Megadom
    3. Jeljel, Forte, Mekks, Dawndus, Brabbit
    4. Cavious, Gravitas, Layazero, Wuud, Gigagush
    5. Yooj, Hotted, Wiral, Florias, Luna=Luna
    6. Suburbion, Thirnova, Hevendor, Vubble, Globin, Starrii, Lastar
    7. Meteo
I would have thought Suburbion and Jeljel would have placed better. The success of Gigagush and Grannest was interesting as well.
    okay, cool.
I knew they were different for the Time War Planets... but something I learned from the data is that Hevendor, I believe, has a greater variety of Meteos than any other planet, with 7 basic Meteos as opposed to the 6 or 5 of all others.

That's one way to balance out its ridiculous gravity.
