Seems to me the only solution for the foreseable future is set-up battle arenas. You're better off not caring about GSP anyway. If you're good, you won't have to wait in queue too often and I find it attracts better players. Plus I find taking a little break to spectate is not a terrible idea.

Actually not quite his recovery (although thats a problem too.) More like a K.Rool can just hang out by the ledge, even if you are center stage and hold his neutral b and suck away nonstop. There seems to be no way to deal with this and the King Rool player can just keep this up and run the clock.

Depending on what you encounter online, it can actually make you worse. You adapt so much to punishing spamming and braindead strategies, that when you finally encounter an actual thinking opponent, the **** hits the fan. 60% of the people you encounter play as if on a freaking flow chart...

Yeah this is exactly what I'm talking about. I do think GSP is overrated, but it detracts from people actually having fun online. Things like GSP should not be collected from Quickplay, where its supposed to be casual.

Its not just some people, though. Rematch rates are probably somewhere around 20%. Having played sm4sh on for glory the rematch rate wasn't nearly that bad. And of course the battle tag argument has merit "look how many people I beat!" It holds as much actual value as being in elite smash, but...

Yes another rant thread about the online system. But this is another angle that may not have been mentioned before (or maybe it has who knows.) but its setting a trend on quickplay that makes me forget about playing quickplay all together. Even in the closest games against anyone, almost noone...

This may or may not be an unpopular opinion, but this version of smash feels like it might be the most balanced despite the large cast. It's not perfect of course but the top "tiers" don't feel overwhelmingly better than cloud and Bayonetta in smash 4 or metaknight in brawl.

I doubted the possibility of Crono, but a very convincing "leak" had come about. It seems to have predicted Joker and the rest of the list seems to make alot of sense. The datamining part is a little more iffy, but maybe it will give us a bit of hope...
