just a heads up, I have confirmed that this week's DQVC quests earn you the mitre and Sellma on your party.
or rather they earn you the mitre and +1 quest completion, since noone really cares about sellma.
lol. sorry I'm replying so late. my mom turned a trip to buy new phones into a 2.5 hour expedition. We've all known which phones we were getting for over a month now. except her, apparently. we found out when we arrived that she hadn't decided what she wanted yet, and made us stand around while she shopped (her 4th time in the past 2 weeks at the Verizon store, btw) for a phone. eventually, she decided that there were too many choices and she needed more time to decide. guess what none of us got? New. ****ing. Phones.
I can usually find good things in the english class readings... but there is always some book that is painful to read.
some Woodson English classes had to read that for their summer assignment.
Everyone was *****ing about it 24/7 on Facebook. Is it really that bad? Might have to go check it out from the library just for the lulz.

I am misinformed. I thought Tolkien was a man from 6th grade till 9th. Last year in English someone did a report on a Tolkien book and convinced our class he was a woman.

although i distinctly remember sitting there doing my classic no-damage run and pikachu jabbed me once and I was like: "PIKACHU! you dip....... (uh.....) ****!"
I discovered that the chinese LoL server has different art than the american one... and it is so much better.
So I hunted down a link to the chinese LoL wiki (or the equivalent) and saved my favorite images as wall paper for my comp. the pictures are SO EPIC!

i haven't seen them with sound (mom told me to turn volume off cuz they were watching a movie), but I did watch them. I assume the sounds are the funny part though.

yah. i know what you mean. once, near the end of last year, i had a weekend in the middle of two huge english projects (turned one in friday, getting a new one monday) and our internet crashed from 8 PM Friday till 8 PM sunday. >.<

I. ****ing. Love. That. Grotto.
i killed Fowleye, then evac'd. I went back in to find a gem slime but instead found... A PANDORA'S BOX!... who cast kathwack and killed 3/4 people on my team on the last turn of the fight. Lucky survival.
Anyway, Fowleye isn't too hard, and he's weak to fire (I think?) so kafrizzle does ~600 damage with no boosts. only hard thing: his spells have 100% haywire chance. so expect some heavy damage unless you have magic mirror up.
he does have a cool speech though. something about the grotto bosses (10/12 of them at least) comprising Zenus. he's the eye apparently, and Excalipurr is the Arm (the hog one is the ear I guess). stupid thing: Neamen is the mind. what? not shogum or elusid? or even atlas? ATLAS IS SMARTER THAN NEAMEN! WTF!?! why neamen!?!
OMG. I got to play DQix briefly last night and beat that grotto where we first found Sir sanguinis and Moai Minstrels. the level 63 one? yah.
because of my mass leveling, I got... Gold Glacier of Gloom level 76! (GGG)
I found grim reapers, wight emperors, grrgoyles and... GEM SLIMES!
and the boss is fowl eye! granted I'm quicksaved right before the boss.
I won't fight him till this weekend I think, but once I beat him (whenever that is) we can go back in and get those monsters in your bestiary (and maybe gemslime hunt while we're at it. 100000 gold per kill = hellz-to-the-yes).
EPIC EDIT:the new DQVC quest "EXTERMINATE" is epic. do it ASAP.
quest: kill 3 metal slimes (yah, the weak kind) in one battle.
reward: METAL SLIME SHIELD. MINI MEDAL FOR ALL REPEATS. worth it? no durr.
the other quest is meh I think. you get to fight yore and you get a wrymwand for it. is that a good weapon (or item, i don't know)?

meh. I got in a few hours on the weekend when I finished my homework, but I'm taking 3 APs and my homework load is picking up this week. Plus, I'm starting to get bombed by chorus rehearsals... so I can't say I'll keep up the pace anymore.

... my main team is OP now.
I'm the lowest level on my team btw. T_T 63 now. my mage and priest are both level 64 (mage learned Kafrizzle! and got auto MP regen) and my M.A. is level... 77. They grow too **** fast. >.< At level 77, she requires less EXP per level than my mage does at 64.
About to go fight baramos now. wish me luck! (got the no-crit scroll, so my priest won't get ***** TOO hard)
EDIT: it's safe to say that baramos is easy when you are prepared. he crit 4 times. twice on my priest which I auto-blocked cuz of my scroll, once on my mage which I dodged (last turn so it wouldn't have mattered anyway), and once on my M.A. which I SURVIVED!
I didn't get an orb tho. *pout* and I also didn't give him the EXP. I refuse to level him up until I am sufficiently ready! (and until you've fought him, cuz I don't want to level him up and then we can't beat him again)

btw. I've been doing epic vocation training... powerleveling is tedious, but worth it. I'm approaching level 30 in all vocations, and am focusing my efforts in resilience and HP training.
plus, just as a secondary effect of my powerleveling, my main party (mage and priest) have now reached level 62 and my M.A. is level 73 now.
lol M.A. grow too fast for their own good. I plan to re-challenge baramos soon. i tried again recently and lasted long enough to deal over 4000 damage to him. once I get more levels and the no-crit shield skill I'll be able to beat him (his level 1 version at least).
and in random other news, Riot released a new weapon in LoL called the manamune and it is epic. I've used it on 6 different characters now, and every game I've played with it has been complete ****.

I got a map on the cringle coast... took SOOOOOO long to find it. so i eventually gave up and happened to find it by accident later.
speaking of cringle coast, I took a page from your book and got me two sun crowns. At least until I get my mitre (next week's download quest), I'll be using one on my priest...

I've had that happen before (the anesthesia thing) when my arm was re-aligned (preschool) and I vaguely remember it.
also got my DS back and discovered I lost around 5 levels of training as an armamentalist.
