    It reminds me of the TTGL eyecatches so that's one reason I like it. It needs more lens flare though.

    You should read the series of LPs of the person who did this one (not the art though). He's done one for Emerald, Crystal, FireRed, Platinum, and Black. He was working on a Black 2 one but I think it's on hiatus.

    Hm, so colliding with a hitbox rather than just a hurtbox might make it apply more KB... intresding...

    Usually that just seems to cancel Lloid with little harm to the attacker but I've seen multiple instances where people die from a non-ridden Lloid way earlier than they should. I'm pretty sure it's from taking the death explosion damage instead of the direct hit damage (I assume the move has constant KB scaling whether it's a direct hit, death explosion, or ridden?).

    Also, you can bucket the explosion from Charizard's Flare Blitz if he hits a wall (the actual impact when he hits you only does 4% lol, it's the explosion that does all the damage). I haven't pulled this off in an actual match, though, since FB can sweetspot the ledge.

    Sorry for the week old reply kofutofu, I actually hadn't watched any more at that moment and didnt want to reply with just "oh naw" so i waited until I was back in the animu mood so I could watch more and reply. Currently watching ep 12. I like Nia, she has an awesome design (is her hair really a cloud?!)

    I'm pretty sure staleness affects it a little because a few weeks ago when I was checking if a Pocketed Charge Shot was a OHKO (it's not) I noticed it didn't always do 49%. I also wonder if using Garden's attack stales the projectiles.

    You don't really need to check multiple character KO percents for Pocket because unless you're playing doubles you only need to check the KO percent for the original user.

    I was wondering about that too, whether or not theres crossover between gardens hitbox and pocketing stuff. I wouldnt be surprised if they did share the same stale move queue, it seems like a likely oversight

    Oh I know, but I mean I don't know how I should do KO percents for the rest of the moveset. Remember that old thread I made with USmash? I stopped because I had to give thought to the process.

    I'd probably just do Bowser for the sake or consistency. If you're worried about vertical KOs you can either switch to Dedede for those moves or just use him only.

    I think his only problem is being light. Rage works against him a lot. Great buttons otherwise.

    finished with this (GREAT) anime called bokurano (WHICH YOU SHOULD WATCH) today, now back to my regularly scheduled ttgl

    speaking of which, just watch the first episode of the japanese dub. its probably all you need to decide whether or not you like kaminas voice

    But yeah, my Link's been in training mode lately. Toon Link was one of my most used characters in Brawl, but the way he plays doesn't really match up with the physics in this game, so I began using Link instead.

    Yeah, you were kind of left without a main in the transition to Smash 4. As much as I disliked fighting the ICs, I wouldn't mind seeing them back because they could (probably) no longer 0-death everybody. They're probably the most likely veteran to return since they were only cut due to hardware limitations. Who're you focusing on now?

    I haven't used ROB a whole lot in Smash 4 but enough to get a feel for him (I hate what they did with FTilt :mad:).

    And tbh I think Toon Link is still pretty good. He hits a lot harder than his small frame would suggest, he has less lag on his arrows, and he's more mobile than Link. At least they gave normal Lonk the kill power he deserved, Brawl's version was a joke.

    Trapping, as in, Dthrow ->Usmash conditioning, and Chef shenanigans and edgeguarding hijinx. They're so satisfying to pull off.

    Dunno why I started using him. It just sorta happened, lol. But he's quickly moving up to my most successful characters.

    I don't do DThrow to USmash as much as I should (or use Chef). You'll probably end up being better at the character than I am, lol. But if you enjoy using him that's all that matters.

    We need to play again sometime soon. Unfortunately I usually work in the afternoon/evenings. I'm available some time tomorrow though.

    I haven't used Samus much in Smash 4 but thought I'd put a little more time into her. So far I've been losing to you and a Greninja.

    Her DSmash is a good "get off me" move but I rely too much on it.

    We'll have to play again sometime with characters I use more often.

    That was my first time experiencing Gravity Grenade. I had heard it set up kills but didn't realize how effective it was. I need to actually make some custom sets, lol. I have most of the ones fory characters.

    Yeah, Gravity Grenade is really nice. The ability to potentially get kills at ~90% trumps default nade's situational uses imo. GG is nice to force people off ledges and control space, somewhat. It also sets up perfectly for edge guards if you hit them and they're below the stage.

    Get customs sets and let's test some out sometime.

    Also I liked his boasts, they were always so rich and flavourful. They made him such a great character (along with referring to himself as "Kamina-sama"). I guess his confidence was really invigorating. I havent watched/read anything in a long time or ever with a character like him.

    Yeah, that confidence is pretty crazy. I guess the main thing about them that bothers me is that a lot of the time he's giving them when he has no chance of winning by himself (case in point: episode 1, facing that first Gunman). But that brings out the real reason he gave them: to help rally others.

    So you're from Texico I see. I doubt me still being in Dallas would be much better than Utah, it's still pretty far away lol.

    I was in Dallas as a missionary (I'm LDS/Mormon) so I didn't do any smashing while I was there.

    Cool! How old were you? Utah to Dallas is pretty far so I'd imagine you were with a group (missionaries usually do stuff in groups right?)

    Yeah, I was 19 when it started and 21 when it ended. Every six weeks a group of missionaries goes to Dallas and another group leaves. After that you're paired off with one person at a time to do work.

    I chose level 8 because they have less of the inhuman responses that level 9s have. Unfortunately for me, they also have an assortment of the equipment I've accumulated. Explosive shield is really dumb, haha. I've mainly done it to see which customs I like and which I don't and to test the waters with each character.

    Hahaha I see, that's pretty fair. level 9's after a while get conditioned to AD after every attack and then you punish them for it and you 3 stock them. :p

    For sure. Level 8s still do that though. I have a replay from my Rosalina testing where air somehow got a Jigglypuff to kill herself in the gap in the first transformation of Reset Bomb Forest by spamming Shooting Star Bit.

    Did you play against a Marth with a white outfit named Quick? I remember staying up late today and I ended up throwing a game against a Jigglypuff because I spammed counter and Jigglypuff used mostly grounded attacks.

    It was probably me then. I was using sleepy cap Jigglypuff with the name Atoyont and switched to being ground-based because I was tired of being tossed around by counter. A better Puff player would probably not have had that problem, though.

    Yeah, it seems most tourneys are down in provo. They're hard enough to find excuses to make it to even from salt lake. I don't go very often at all, just enough to have met most people who go, which is why I asked.

    Anyway, you up for trading FCs? I actually don't really even have anybody added yet, I've been kept busy with for glory.
