The placebo and the drought of Dedede buffs is making me hallucinate minuscule changes to Gordo hitboxes. At this point, I'll take any change to the king. In the mean time, I'll be waiting for the patch notes so I can be once again be disappointed by the lack of love for the king.

Well, I hate to make my returning post to the Dedede boards a placebo post, but here goes nothing. I've been messing around with ledge sticking gordos and it's been pretty consistent. I'm going to take a wild guess and say the hitbox was changed. But there's no real way to tell until the patch...

I think Mandala is exaggerating "impossible". It is possible by to tag @-Melødy but the ø character is difficult to find/type so you have to go out of your way to find the user and copy paste their name. Not impossible, but inefficient. Also since all the cool kids are doing it.
