Hey people, I was a pretty casual player in the days of Brawl and so never went out looking for people to play. But I really want to get into the 3DS / Wii U games. Just wondering if there are Smash Bros. gatherings in Sydney that occur on a regular basis.

Pretty much this for me too. Totally not worth waiting or 'cheating' to unlock it.

I find that I pull out smash attacks accidentally more than the other way around, I hope the Circle Pad can take this long term. But I agree with the lvl 9 CPU, totally a pain in the behind. I suggest not going there unless you have to, level 9 CPUs won't help you get better at fighting real people.

Yup I've found that the top level AI has insane defensive timing, and uses it constantly. I've found that playing defensively yourself is a good option against CPU.

Yeah, I was stoked for online, but the lag is awful for aussies... Again we pay more to get less.

Anyone willing to play with an Australian? The Lag hasn't been too bad on my part, but distance is a factor. My FC is 1478-5055-7235.

I have my fingers crossed that this will be the age of the 'Dorf! Maybe he can step out of Captain Falcons shadow.
