    So yea. Terra is awesome. I support your decision. Though you might want to ~maybe~ think about it, as we have several FFIV characters in this contest (Golbez has been posted, planned by others are as far as I remember Cecil, Kain and Palom & Porom... so you still would have plenty to choose from).

    They're good, not much has happened with me very recently. I've eventually finished doing the prelim/mock exams that I'd missed, and I did quite good :grin:

    A while back I nearly died, but pulled through (so close to actually having an applicable name, lol) so w/e. Suicide isn't as easy as it's made out to seem apparently lol :laugh:

    What about you, how have things been with you?

    Well you never know with WWYP, you might get lucky with a good prompt that just 'clicks' with you. Guess you'll have to just wait and see :p

    I almost didn't enter this one, but I thought up a crazy story involving Bouquets and Cigarettes.

    Yeah.
    FFVI has an incredible endgame which I won't spoil.

    The thing I really liked about it was how rediculously powerful your characters could get when you got the really good armour towards the end (The ones which raise your magic/physical evade were amazing).

    You'll also probably appreciate how the characters are a bit like FF9 where everyone seems pretty unique (Some fit for attacking/magic/thievery/Throwing stuff/Painting enemies/Slot Machine/Moogle?)

    FF6 is definitely worth playing. Easily my 2nd favorite FF.

    The thing I like about FFX-2 is that it doesn't try to hide the fact that it's trying to be an empowering shoujo magical girl anime trapped in a PS2 game. I am a fan of CLAMP, so I can sorta appreciate it. I remember reasearching papers on those types of anime, and reading about how they serve to empower younger female audiences with the idea that they can succeed, can be strong, etc.

    But I dunno. It just wasn't a Final Fantasy to me. It was more like a Fanfiction and it kinda ruined my vision of Spira. The plot was kinda lame too. I enjoyed the battle system though, rofl.

    Plus they end up being sort-of paired with those three guys, nooj, Baralai and that other guy (I forget lol). Sailor Moon style pairing rofl.

    Also FFX2 changed Wakka's english voice actor. I couldn't forgive them >: (

    I like how she's just a strong female lead that's different. Actually it's something that's been missing for quite some time now from the FF's.

    Celes (FF6) was the last Strong female lead in an FF to me. Tifa/Aeris/Yuffie didn't do it for me, Quistis was kinda cool, but still relied too much on Squall.

    Freya to me had a very set in stone goal. She left her home and vowed never to return til she found Fratley. I really liked that, and the way she could talk down on Zidane.

    FFX had Lulu who is another favorite.
    FF12 had Fran. though the whole bunny ears thing was pretty lol.
    FF5 had Faris, cross-dressing pirate woman. Arrrgh.

    The protagonist of FFXIII, Lightning, looks pretty cool. Want to buy :0

    FFX was my favorite. The gameplay and the richness of the story, the whole rebellion against religion really got me.
