Fair point, Roy is pretty slow recovering and has got a pretty small ledge sweet spot to boot. Among other issues.

I think Tink was better in brawl tbh, his aerials were better and I used them almost extensively, but he's still solid. Anyway, I can't really understand why people say marth is now the best FE character since he can't land tippers as often as Roy lands his sweetspots nor does he have near Ike...

So would you consider roy to be the best overall swordsman in the game even after all these buffs to the others?

This isn't aimed at anyone in particular, but when Sakurai said the rest of the dlc will be fan service, some people tend to forget that putting Wolf in the game IS fan service.

I hope to god they fix his sweetspot on his up-b, everything else can stay. Also the lack of chain grabs makes him even stronger. YOU CAN'T CAGE HIM FOREVER SAMURAI

Depends on what character they are using. It's mostly d-throw > u-tilt/uair/blazer (though I dunno if d-throw to blazer is a true combo). I've even managed to do d-throw > u-tilt > jab > re-grab > d-throw > nair on link a few times when roy was at around 5% and link was 0%, but again I'm not...
