  • I don't know but I'm assuming there's a psychological reason we get upset over things (opinions) that don't matter. I'll give science a call and see if it knows.

Ugh I know, the wait for new eps is even longer now that I'm back at uni and have to actually do stuff. It's like crack, there's a short high followed by a week of withdrawl symptoms until the next fix.

I haven't seen Rubicon yet because I keep forgetting about it... that excuse sounded better in my head. Also because Australia sucks we have download limits so I can't afford to download lots of shows (I normally only watch one show at a time because of this) so I'll probably end up getting it on DVD when it comes out (or is it out already?).
I think I found the thread that made you say that, and my flesh started leaking off my face as I read it. Holy balls.

I typically try to avoid the PRoom in general, though my curiosity does best me sometimes. I don't know what I would do if it weren't for the BRoom and Dgames.
If you're interested in seeing her in a role where she doesn't just have to show up and have perfect teeth, watch Rachel Getting Married. Though that movie really only exists for her to show off a little bit more of her range. Wouldn't recommend it on its own.

Still, I haven't really seen her do "strong" or "independent" or "sexy." Which, as you said, are pretty much Catwoman's calling cards. She's certainly attractive, but in such a vanilla way. She would never be my first choice for a femme fatale; that's for sure.
Boss. Boss as ****. Although really, even if TDKR just comes out "not embarrassing," it'll be more than you could say for most trilogy enders. I've got faith it'll be awesome though.

Still not totally sure how I feel about Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle though. She has shown once or twice that she can handle herself relatively well in "edgier" roles, but I still don't think I've seen her portray the grit that I feel like Catwoman should have. But I've been surprised before.
I've actually only seen Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Inception. I've been meaning to at least see Memento as well, since that's the pre-Batman one that everybody seems to mention first. I may actually make a point of making tomorrow a See-A-Movie-You've-Been-Meaning-To-See day, just since we've been talking about it so much and I have little else going on.

Did Tom Hardy really buff up au naturel for the part? I haven't gotten a good look at Bane yet, but I just figured he'd be at least somewhat padded or CGI'd or something. If he pulls a Ledger-level transformation outta this, I'm gonna cry tears of glorious joy.
I would never dream of attempting to stop this bromance. Though this still will not guilt me onto AIM.

That Christopher Nolan is a fine chap indeed. An unsung hero of cinema, the way I see it (all these critical hits* and not a single Oscar. For shame, Academy). TDKR best get him a little golden man next year or else he has every right to Kanye that ****, as far as I'm concerned.

Or rather, someone else can Kanye that **** for him (probably Christian Bale or somebody), since he would be the Beyoncé in that situation. This may be the first and last Chistopher Nolan/Beyoncé comparison in the history of anything.

*I've been playing too much Pokémon lately
    Sorry! I completely forgot. :(

I don't have time right now, so I only have one piece of advice: don't stop at supercop, be a ****ing ROBOCOP.
brevity is the soul of wit and tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes
You really should try watching Death Note. I'm srs when I said it made me think of mafia a lot when I rewatched it.

Plus, it makes you think about morality and stuff a bit, and has epic music!
Whoops posted this on my own wall.

"Hahahahahaha, oh man, I thought you were talking about a game that doesn't exist for a second.

I'll give you some tips later. I'm actually insanely busy right now, sorry."
Season 4 is why I put it as my avatar :)

I haven't seen The Killing so I can't comment on it.
i really think you are a character man

you will run into so many characters that you love to love, love to hate, love to read, want to see more of, etc.

be sure to read Secret Six (Vol. 3), if not for Catman and all the other awesome characters, then for Bane
"Batfan... that hasn't read a single Batman comic"

well theres your problem right there! those people arent batfans!

    that'll be a 60 dollar diagnostic fee
    yeah np

you will get to the point where you have read most everything on that list, and you will find other batman comics, and you wont worry about reading things in order or where they belong and you will just read it :]
its odd, isnt it, because batman confidential tells stories about batman's early years, and yet the stories with The Wrath in them involve Nightwing

regardless, read them if you want. i havent read them all. they aren't bad, and its Batman, so its almost always fun to read. you dont need to worry about when to read them in comparison with the others, but honestly i would not put an emphasis on them, especially when compared to the amazing books that ive already recommended to you
