Hello. This is in regards to the current lock on the MLP thread. I may be a "brony", but don't consider me such for this complaint. I'm not complaining as a fan of the show that's butthurt I can't post in the thread. We've got a xat for that.

I'm complaining because of the painfully "********" use of your locking ability. In response to it not being a social thread, that may be true. It's not listed as such. However, any time spent in that thread would make readily apparent the non-strict posting allowed in there. Further, have you had an actual complaint? Or is this simply your discretion because you're "not feeling the topic is fitting"? If you haven't had a complaint, then I find it laughable that one person should have the authority to close a thread that's so frequented by many others. And even further, every single page of the MLP thread has an obscene amount of posts related to MLP. Go to any other "general" thread, and find me an entire community who never goes off topic.

If my points aren't correct, then please correct me. If they are, I respectfully ask that you lift the ban on the thread. We have done nothing warranting it, and I certainly hope this whole mess wasn't caused because a few select individuals have issues with a cartoon show being popular.

As a side note, I have nothing against you personally, Jungle. In fact, I was going to let the lock slide at first. But Xiivi's threatening tone to his post after yours legitimately infuriated me. This is a joke. I posted here because I didn't want to make the issue a big deal outside of those involved, but I will recommend all who care to stop by yours and Xiivi's walls to express their displeasure. I will also do my best to make sure they do so in a courteous and polite manner, but you've seen how easily we get "off-topic".
