I feel like Diddy, Link, Sheik, maybe Kirby and Sonic should be rediscussed. All the other match ups seem pretty much the same overall.

Fox vs Charizard, not entirely sure because I've never played a really good Charizard and don't really use him. It feels like a 6-4 match up in Fox's favor, but I could be entirely wrong. Charizard is really big, so he's very easy to combo and has low air mobility. Double jab also works on him...

Fox vs. Rosalina I don't have full depth knowledge of how to play this match up, but I want to say it's about even. Rosalina is very difficult to get in on with Luma, but Fox has all the tools needed to successfully approach her. Both characters can kill ridiculously early and edge guard each...

I don't think Fox is 3rd best character or even a top tier.

Diddy doesn't have any good aerials to challenge Fox from below. His best aerial to challenge Fox's uair is his own uair because it hits slightly below him and comes out on frame 3, but it won't hit if Fox spaces uair properly. Fox's dair is not favorable to use against Diddy's aerials...

Vs. Pit and Dark Pit Fox wins the neutral pretty convincingly. Arrows shouldn't be too much of a threat onstage with the reflector and Pit is a good weight and fall speed that all of the jab shenanigans work on him. Fox's combo, damage output, and juggling is a lot better than Pit's. Fox can...

In my opinion the best way to deal with Diddy in neutral is to weave in and out with your superior movement speed. From mid range you can punish majority, if not all of the attacks he can throw out with dash attack, pivot ftilt, or side b. I think the neutral game is slightly in Fox's favor...

His run is the best in game, but his dash isn't as good. He always have to do something out of his inital dash because the endlag for it is really long. You can still punish Sonic's spring to dair even if they auto cancel it, just makes it harder. I'm pretty sure you can hit them with jab jab...

The throw is a really strong tool, but his dash and dash grab are not that quick. If you combine that with Fox's great movement speed it feels like Sonic would have to work harder than he would against most characters to land a grab on Fox. Fox is capable of covering spring dair pretty easily...
