    3rd person?????

Drik, are you serious? You do know that FPS stands for "first person shooter", right?

    Hard to play Bowser?

I agree with Gray... he's not a very complex character, however, it is very hard to become a proficient bowser player. I'd say he is one of the harder characters to truly play at a competitive with.

    KoreanDJ vs The World

Wow... KDJ went ballistic on the second Marth there... especially those first two stocks :dizzy:.

    Nicknames for melee ideas

I couldn't think of a very good name, but then I settled on Crux. The word basically means 'an unsolved question', so I thought it kind of fit :).

    my doc =)

You aren't completely without mind-games. I was just suggesting you vary your game a bit, as it helps to keep your opponent off-balance.

To Face: I forgot about that use... thanks for bringing it up :).

    partner for mario

Mariofan: What did your second post mean? (sorry if I missed something obvious) Edit: Oh, thanks for clarifying :).

    my doc =)

PM, the technical improvements that have been suggested are a good start. While you are getting better with all of the advanced techniques, I advise (like I did for your Mario) that you work on varying your game-play and making yourself more unpredictable... I guarantee that this will help you...

    partner for mario

Hmm... that's a good question. I play doubles a bit with my friend, and we usually play Mario (or Doc) and Marth (or sometimes Ganondorf). It seems to work pretty well for us, however I'm unsure if these are good combinations or not. If my friend (.ReDLiNE-) ever gets on SWF again, I'm sure...

To mariofan: Reverse capeing is just using mario's cape in the opposite direction of his opponent. This allows the back edge of the cape to hit them, often setting them up for a quick bair or another attack.

    maybe a new tatic??

I'm not sure if it's been discussed either... but I sometimes do this as well, although not always against Falco :). I think it's a good technique to know because it allows you to make your recovery game a little more varied.

Not bad PM... those matches were pretty fun to watch. :) My advice is to get comfortable with some of mario's common combos (especially those out of a grab). Also, work on some more approaches so you can make your game a little more varied and unpredictable. Overall, though, you did a good...

Who else is nervous about Brawl potentially sucking?

I think the game is going to be very well rounded, and don't worry, they won't neglect multiplayer (or at least I doubt they will :) )

    GGG: getting good guide?

Well, Final Destination is a good level to practice wave-dashing and most other techniques (except platform wave-landing which is better to be practiced on a stage like Battlefield). As for L-canceling, bowser is a good character to use because it is easy to tell if you have successfully...

How Do you Approach a Match against someone you've never played before?

I usually play conservatively (more defense) until I can see their basic style of play... once I've been on the defensive for a while, I immediately start mind-gaming more and trying to counter their style.
