Your lasers are much faster than his Waddle Dees. His projectile shouldn't be able to stop yours if you double laser properly, plus Falco has his reflector. Wait for him to approach.

Looks like there was lots of lag on your matches. Offline matches would be better for critiquing, but we'll do what we can. There are some obvious things like laser game that need work on, but that could just be the lag factor. A big thing I notice is that you are using Dsmash too frequently...

Jab to grab seems pretty effective, and the easiest way seems to be just shieldgrabbing an approach, but what else can be used to set up for a grab/chaingrab?

The biggest thing I see here is that you're letting him approach too easily. If he's running straight at you, don't jump. Just shine him in the face. Also, use jump-canceled phantasms frequently, especially against short opponents like Meta Knight.

It's just a matter of timing. When you want to do a boost smash, try hitting up on the control stick first, followed by Z immediately afterwards.

Against aggressive players, especially Smash spamming ones, reflector is your best friend. It really messes up those kind of approaches, and if he tries to approach from the air, just roll back and laser him.
