Well, I made two forums myself which were pretty successful, both had to do with the games Star Wars Battlefront and SWBF2. I was promoted to an administrator on the forum for the game Stick Strike; that forum died a few years back but it was pretty active in it's day. I'm still a moderator at NetFortress, a random video game discussion forum with about 500 members; it's not too active these days though. There were others too... can't remember them all.
