    Yes, being relevant and important is always good! Seeing the Toads jump so confidentally and use the Super Leaves makes them seem more like heroes!

    Also as for Luigi, it seems that he is playable; however, there is a mission after you save Peach and you need to rescue Luigi from Bowser or Dry Bowser or something like that. I think he is then playable after all this. He is more like an extra for the game and is rather not important to the story unlike Mario, the Toads, and Peach.

    I don't think so, but they were still important enough to be featured in such a sense (Tanooki Toads flying home alongside Mario and Peach). Apparently, they have important in game roles, but I don't want to spoil myself too much to look for these details until I play the game.

    Hey Berserker guess what! I hope you do not mind spoilers, but in the ending of Super Mario 3D Land, the three Toads become Tanooki Toads alongside Tanooki Mario! The ending shows a lot of significance as Mario, Peach, and the Toads are in it with a Bowser cameo! Now Toad with a Tanooki Power up recovery in Smash would not be an obscure idea as the Toads used it! Plus they looked both awesome and adorable in the suits!

    That is true. Sunshine was his greatest role as this game really deepened the character. However, after that he lost significance. NSMBDS was a somewhat important game for Jr. as well; however, in SMG he is treated a lot worse. In NSMB Wii, he seems to be replaced by the Koopalings but still had charge over them.

    I guess Nintendo wanted a new "road-block" for Bowser this time in SM3DL. False Bowsers, Koopalings, Boom Boom have retired over time as well...could Jr. be facing a similar predicament even though he lasted the longest?

    Jr. is confirmed to not be in SM3DL. Instead Boom Boom and Pun Pun replaces him (see he is "filler" [like what people used to call Toad] :D). The only things he has to look for is MP9 and Fortune Street, both of which has Toad with higher priority. Jr. is also not in MK7 yet. Shows his significance if he has yet to be revealed 1 month prior to release. Also no way LM2 and Paper Mario 3DS will have him either. I don't hate Jr.; however, I want to see Toad in Smash first before him..

    Though it seems that Paper Mario is supported more than ever now...

    Yup, but a circuit by itself is awesome! Generally, the important characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi have their own circuits, so Toad having a circuit is great! Apparently, it is the first course in the game as well (just like Luigi Circuit in the previous games).

    Perhaps we can analyze his competitors for the next SSB4? SSB4 might not come along for a while, so who knows which characters will rise or lower from significance. Toad and Jr. have good chances of being significant while I don't see Waluigi getting anything more than his current role. I feel PM chances will decrease once the hype for the upcoming game is lowered (after its release). I think Nintendo is starting to respect Toad for the retro character he is nowadays seeing his importance these days (did you check out the SM3DL website? He is one of the few characters alongside Mario, Peach, Bowser and Boom Boom to have a profile! Also for both NOA and Japanese websites!)..

    Hm, I might update the Future Importance topic soon to cover Toad's SM3DL appearances. Also did you hear in MK7, Toad has his own Circuit! :D

    At the moment, I am unsure of what we should do. Perhaps if we can try getting better coverage of Toad around the different forums to have more people realize his chances (it's good so far, but more Toad support is better right)? I might update the Mario Boards and Nsiders forums Toad topics to get that to happen. Think we should develop any more topics to talk about Toad (have any ideas Berserker)?

    I really dislike the Gamefaqs community for obvious reasons. Really pointless trying to go there, but I still think we should have Toad support in some way there as there seems to be a lot of people there...

    I've always wondered why they remade Dr. Mario so many times, yet they always left out Wario's Woods. I'm not saying that only for the behalf of Toad being the main character, but the game itself was also incredible and very unique. I'd love to see a remake or sequel of it (of course featuring the famous Mushroom Retainer himself)!

    I see that you updated Toad's picture for the Toad Brigade. He sure does look excited for Mario 3D Land!

    Definitely LM2 will be a big one! Just wish we got more news for the game... I really hope that Toad's role seems to be what it seems (really hope for playable!). NSMB Mii is good, and if only Nintendo can remake SMB2...:D

    I wonder if the 3DS or Wii U can introduce a Toad game for us?

    Unless he is one of the first newcomers previewed for e3 (that would be epic!). Peach's B move really does need to change (I personally like to see Toadsworth here).

    SM3DL was a green light for Toad so far in terms of importance, so let's hope for more games featuring Toad.

    Very true. I just hope Sakurai does not keep that same logic that he had of Toad for Melee. Hopefully NSMB Wii changes his mind along with the future games. We know that Sakurai loves the retro characters, and I'm sure that he is very well aware of Toad. If he can make the dainty Peach playable, then Toad should have no problem.

    Very true, 33 already makes us one of the larger group alliances bases. Though I guess we'll still need to face the numerous haters out there...

    I wonder if Smash King got the invititation for the Toad Brigade - I used to see him a lot as a Toad supporter (I really want to see the group bloom with popularity like it is so far approaching).

    Not enough sonic adventure gameplay style in modern version if you want my only critique. THAT BEING SAID THOUGH, surprisingly Speed Highway almost perfectly resembled that gameplay and was my favorite stage in the game.

    I do think the game is better than Colors.

    Music is better for starters.
