  • I'm thinking of another moveset for Toad, something without the dash, but still making him a rushdown grappler.
I like how the refs switched sides in Games 1-4. In 1 and 2, there were bad calls against the Celtics. In Game 3, there were bad calls against the Heat. In Game 4, there were 3 or 4 bad calls against LeBron James. At least in Game 5 it wasn't an issue.

As for Harden, he's a beast. The best bench player in the league. Those 3 OKC guards are amazing (btw Derek Fisher plays way too many minutes).

Rondo reminds me of Bob Cousy, but more athletic. I think at this point in his (and Steve Nash's) career, he is the better passer. But man, I really doubt anyone anytime soon not named Kobe Bryant will be playing at that high of a level at the age of 38. Steve Nash is simply put a freak, funny, stylish, a smart guy, and an all-around cool bro. That and he carries bad teams (and makes them good) so much, and never complains about it.
Also, I saw in the thread you were wondering why I disappeared. I had a Melee tournament to go to on Sunday, which I had played over 500 matches preparing for on Thursday-Saturday with my bro. I was doing freaking good until I ran into SFAT (one of the best players in NorCal) who murdered me, and I was never able to recover (although I almost beat a ranked NorCal player after that!)

On Monday I was burnt out like hell after 12 hours of pure Melee and Project M.

The last couple of days I've been busy helping a friend or two or three through some rather depressing stuffs. Which, fortunately, turned out to be not so depressing in the end once everything was solved. ;)

Now I'm just super burnt out and kinda in a "meah, I'll take a break" mood after finishing finals last week.

Still, I gotta do some E3 pre-Smash Wii U/3DS reveal character prediction video. The work never ends!
Yeah, Boston knows how to stretch out a series. It's kinda funny to think about how they are so good, but they constantly have 6 or 7 game series they win. The only 4 or 5 game series that I can remember the Big 3 (well, 4) winning is last year against the (extremely overrated and overhyped) Knicks, and that was because Chauncey and A'mare went down.

Also, I probably do need to play some more Capcom fighting games. I haven't played MvC2 or Tatsunoko (I know I spelled it wrong! XD) vs. Capcom in ages.
OKC is straight up murdering the Los Thugules Rapers.

The only reason the Lakers won a game was because of inconsistent officiating.

Also, lol at everyone saying how good Kobe is shooting, even though his shooting % is south of 40%. That ain't Jordan.
Also, the Heat could use Ray Allen. He's a good passer for a shooting guard. However, they really need a point guard (unless LeBron moves to that position and plays like Magic Johnson, and thus they would need a small forward) and a center.

The former reason is why Steve Nash is being targeted by the team. Still, that doesn't solve the Heat's center problem, unless Bosh gains more weight (again) and becomes a center or one of their developmental guys steps up.

Joel Anthony is probably like the 2nd worst starting NBA Center in the league. Sadly, the worst is on my Warriors, Andris Biedriņš. He was the highest-earning player on the team despite not even scoring 100 points this season despite note being injured. But at least we got Bogut. I like me some Australian centers!
Haha nah, I have simply found a few packed Tumblrs that I scrolled VERY far down into. In fact, there could be more since I didn't make it all the way down, but there is just so much. His internet popularity is palpable.
I think by LeBron chokes, you mean he chokes and is out for the series. Then the question is now which is he better at choking at: food or basketball?

Also, Durant is not a ball hog because his team across the board aren't that great at passing, and they do a lot more designed isolation plays with all of their (offensive) players. The only exception is their 3 guards. Plus Durant does a lot more screens (and he does them more effectively) than Kobe does. That and he doesn't come off as a douche, he hasn't been accused of **** (in which he thus changed his number), and he hasn't cheated on his wife.

With the Lakers, the ball somehow always ends up in Kobe's hands, even if the rest of his team are good passers for their position (minus World Peace, Sessions, and the entire Laker's bench). Part of this is the triangle offense, part of it is Kobe's mid-way career in which he was a ball hog, and part of it is the fact Bynum and Gasol disappear a lot.
LOL, yeah the 6ers love their injured teams. If somehow they pass the Celtics (I doubt it), and they face Miami, watch not just Chris Bosh not be fully healthy, but D Wade get hurt.

Then, they win in the Finals after Tim Duncan and Manu go down! It'll be the greatest injury catastrophe of all-time!

Regardless, I think the Celtics will get healthier as the series goes on, and win it in 6.

Also, that Lakers joke was funny.
Still, the Lakers have 1 elite guard (albeit at demi-god status), the Thunder have 3.
The Lakers have 2 solid bigs, the Thunder have 2 solid bigs.
The Lakers have an above average 3-point shooting small forward. The Thunder... have this.
Ah, so you're a Celtics fan. I finally ratted it out of you. :smirk:

I'm a Golden State Warriors fan, so I haven't gotten many bones in the last few... well... ever. :(
But at least I saw this happen in person for my 16th birthday.

Yep, that series is gonna be good. Sixers have got a lots of speed. Celtics got a lot of power. Both teams are both elite on defense and good at not making big mistakes. I'm liking it. Although both teams shot pretty terribly.

But yeah, the Thunder are gonna strike lightning on the Lakers' playoff hopes. Durantula, their 3 elite guards, and their tall blocking, defensive, and rebounding master bigs are gonna shut down the Lakers. Oh, and Durant is gonna take Metta World Prick to the back barn and shoot him.
Game 8 was a great game for Denver. Denver came back with a thumping, winning by 39.

Boy, trading for the Thunder's roster (specifically trading for Russell Westbrook) and trading the franchise to Oklahoma City really made this team better.

It's like they are an entirely different team!

    :awesome:
Well that is because they are both anthropomorphic blades, Ghirahim is much like the "Anti-Master Sword" like I've probably said a lot in hopes that he can return fulfilling that role.

Haha Groose's heart would give you like infinite heart containers, so I am not sure it is. XD
Most Epic Moment: When Ghirahim resurrects his master laughing maniacally, and Demise is revealed. Then he knocks out Ghirahim, and I was like, "WTF He better not have killed my favorite freaking character!" Then he started pulling a huge sword out of his chest a Ghirahim laughed. @_@ That whole scene was just epic.

Funniest Moment: What you said is pretty high up there, Groose and Zelda shenanigans are great. Ghirahim dancing was made me laugh for sure as well.

Random Moment: Not sure, finding Headmaster Gaepora soaking in the bath (when I was expecting something more... interesting) every night is up there. Also having to find the musical notes even though you already proved yourself to be the hero. There may have been more random things during scenes, but it has been so long I can't recall all of them.

(Sorry for lateness, I have such a derpy habit where I reply on my own wall XD)
Yeah, I used to live in SoCal, but I hate L.A., as a city, people, and the air.

But still, Charles Barkley picked the Nuggets to beat the Lakers. I'm not surprised he got it right (or so it seems). He predicted the Grizzles would beat the Spurs last season.

But yeah, the Nuggets are a bit raw, but they have size, speed, and energy. All they are missing is a "star" player. I actually think a good fit for Nuggets would be Dwight Howard!
Well, the controls aren't perfect, but I wouldn't really expect that much. And of course the formula is predictable, its a flippin' Zelda game. XD
    Ohhh my bad. ^^;

And I may need to look that up, I wonder what the reasons were. It is true that I wouldn't give it a 10, maybe a 8.5 actually. (I'd be critical with reviewing games because I see 10 as a flawless game).
Haha yeah, I liked that part.

My problems with syncing weren't too often, in the sense at the very least it didn't affect my gameplay.

And why **** Gamestop? Did they review it poorly or something?
Hahah I seriously lol'd so much when Groose's theme came on. And the best part was Grooseland. The new Zelda was great too, she actually had some personality, I felt a strange feeling that I needed to save her and care. XD

I liked Demise too, even though he was brief and his fight wasn't long like most final boss matches. He is one BA mofo.
Hahah yeah, I actually liked him before the game came out, it was annoying that people called him Debbie and made fun of the design. It was icing on the cake when Ghirahim pretty much made the game for me. If that game was about Ganondorf, I seriously think it would have been less memorable.
It looks okay so far, more or less a Namco X Capcom sequel. I'll have to look up some gameplay vids, but if it came overseas I'd definitely buy it.

I'm liking the Capcom side the most (MMX and Frank :D), Sega has a few series I like but NEEDS Sonic, other than Tekken I have no idea who's on the Namco side.

[COLLAPSE="Oh good, we can combine our research:"]
Very true. NSMB Mii might just get people thinking about the Miis instead. -_-.

Even more than SSB4, I am hoping to see a game this year at e3 featuring Toad (even as a key character). There's a chance hopefully (even a smb2 or Wario's Woods remake would be nice).
    Same here...though I guess that's what we're all waiting for. :p

It would be nice to get something in this year's e3. The board would probably explode with the news.
So it is true...they do hurt you...We must let the scientific community know of this so it can be futher tested.

BTW I finally got 3D Land, I have yet to finish it but it's starting to push me towards Toad a little more. ;)

Although I still like jumping on his head when I get the chance. :p
    That is ironic. lol

Sorry I cannon test your spoon theory, I'm stuck in a dorm room with nothing but...PLASTIC SPOONS! :awesome:
    Probably just you (no offense).

I myself only care to the extent of keeping Ike and Lucario, and getting back Mewtwo. In return though, I don't care about the Mario series.
Lol, he once said "Yeah, like Rare didn't make StarFox. Do some research." SOMETHING LIKE THAT and I put it in my signature. I think he ignored me because of it, lololol.
