    My work ends at the start of february, I still have to attend esa3 in france and that'll cost around 300€ and I get around 400€ per month. Trip to usa is around 800€ at least, easily over 1k€. :/

    Uh, I have that ohanna tourney to attend. And isn't that in california? That's way too far, I'd rather go to teh new york side which is a lot closer and a lot cheaper. I dunno if I can even make it to america this summer, but paying more for tourney does not help things. Besides, ohanna tourney sounds awesome too and I'd be lying if I said the female competition would be my top priority in american tourneys. Too many play brawl anyway. <.<

    we used to be pretty good. big tournies had 30 players with 10 solid competitive players i'd say. not bad for a country about the size of maine probably smaller.

    Yes. I love it. 2009 is gonna be a big year for Melee, mainly because people are starting realize how ****ty brawl is compared to melee. I can't wait. There's a lot of big canadian tourneys too, like CAST5 maybe, Flatzone and SFU. Can't waiittt.
