No, I said after that how I forget to to choose Norfair because I like Battlefield and Halberd better. Guess no one has any specific feelings towards Norfair.

Prolly 'cause it's no fair.

Was it a tournament play, or friendlies? I can't imagine an Olimar going to Orpheon, lol. I've recently been told not to underestimate Lucas on Frigate, by a buddy of mine.

EDIT: Brinstar > Norfair, those are my feelings against No Fair, lol.
I prefer Brinstar because it has moar features!!

seriously, the slowdown on that dsmash is waaaaay longer than anyone expects, even after seeing it a few times. It's the one time I recommend doing something so slow.

I used to like frigate more, dunno why I haven't been going there ever anymore.

I'm inclined to say that it enlarges the hitbox, as well.
I hit a marth from behind me w/ Dsmash from an unholy distance away.

Has anyone ever read "Ender's Game"? PhoenixAlpha's post reminded me of something from it.

No spoilers please, in the off chance that someone who reads who hasn't read ender's game this feels like correcting their mistake and hits a library.

Welp, thanks for making my post appear to be...not what it was. I had better things to say than that. z_z

Anyway, it was ladder play, so it was competitive. And Frigate was my CP, so he didn't have a choice unless he were to play a different character?

And yes, don't underestimate Lucas on this stage. I've grown to love it.

As a spam sink. I originally intended it to have no purpose other than to syphon spam out of other threads, but it seems to be going in the direction of a community combo video.

I haven't seen you post in a while, vidjo. Are you still playing brawl?

Since Brinstar isn't CP for OH SNAP, I'll have to stick with Norfair, Pirate Ship, and maybe Frigate, depending on my opponent.

aww no brinstar? how the hell is norfair CP but brinstar isnt.....the stage can kill you easier on norfair.....makes no sense >_<

i took a good look around smashboards while i was at school today.
and it seems like no thread is as fun and great as this one is.
i'm going to try record more videos for the community combo video

are there any tournaments out by east meadow??
last one i went to, i barely knew how to play the game and i didnt no how to tech and i only played one char. it was in northport in june

The closest one to me would be gametable, in Mineola.

Last one was two weeks ago.

I know they have tourneys at castle golf in Center Reach.

I think they have Bi-Weeklies. I'm not too sure though.

i just came home from school, and all last period i was thinking about leaving class early to come to this thread and talk more about omelets...now THATS AN ADDICTION!

anyway, we need to get more people winning with lucas at tourneys. I guess those rules that i posted earlier dont bother me because
1) i dont use MK
2)Lucas doesnt hav a chaingrab....tho marth falco ic's and haunter do and i use them....but w/e

Yeh, personally I hate when I have to be conscious about avoiding a chain grab, so I just don't give a **** about if they're banning them or not.

I care about those things being banned, because it hurts some characters, and I don't believe in banning meta knight.

I don't agree in banning that stuff.

it depends on who you're fighting against, and who you're attacking with. When each character attacks, it makes the sound of an instrument. you hav to hit the attack button in the same beat that the music is playing
