Votes for inclusion of this in the final build.You can't replace Rumble Falls with Wifi waiting room because the Rumble Fall effects would all still be included. You could replace Battlefield with WWR(probably) but why?
Simple method. Use this code by Phantom Wings.
9 additional stages that work without replacing anything. Replays work fine and do not clash with the SSS code, and the stages all use Battlefield's music instead of WWRs single track. Before, I pressed them at the same time. Now I have to press shield then a direction. Its a noticeable difference.
There is no common5.pac with the downloads anymore since it made people freeze.Angel, the updater checks for a group of files, and if the checksum doesn't match the one on the server list it replaces completely the one on your computer. That means custom GCTs and Common5 files will be completely lost. Battle portraits (InfFace###.brres) will not be.
The updater gets:
- RSBE01.gct
- Fighter/Character/FitCharacter.pac
- Fighter/Character/FitCharacterMotionEtc.pac
- Common3.pac
- Common5.pac (not sure if you can choose to not replace common5, I've never updated textures...)
- Strap_en.pac
- Whatever handles the menu.
Any file downloaded by the updater will overwrite completely any old file of the same name and in the same location. I'd recommend updating manually if you want to keep those things, at least for the GCT, and saving your common5 somewhere else and then overwriting B+'s if you have to.
You must space it correctly in order to combo from it. Before, the main hitbox (not the tip) could lock people effortlessly (in Brawl) and then was changed so that the main hitbox didn't lock people but rather hit them away as intended while if you spaced the Ftilt correctly (by hitting with the tip of her foot) you were rewarded and thus, could combo off of Ftilt.Sheik's f-tilt (I may be wrong as I alwyas may be) seems to knock people back further, making it a bit harder to combo.
Aesthetics. Wario's coin damage was taken from BB for the lulz. Y Link had a fire spike in melee so it was brought back, but Ivysaur still gets hit harder by fire and Squirtle hit weaker so we went with aura. See above for Darkness Rest. Basically, most are for aesthetics though some are the only way to balance out Pokemon weaknesses.I know its been there for long, but, why were there changes to the elements on hit of some attacks.
Like rest dealing darkness damage, Wario's grab attack coin damage, Toon Link dair spike aura (this one puzzles me), Ganondorf's bair electric damage, and others I may not have noticed.
Is there a practical reason for this, or only aesthetics?

It's nothing new lol. Both of the things you posted have been that way for awhile. (Sheik's Ftilt even longer).

Yes, MK, Falcon, and everyone else's final smash works swimmingly.I still haven't downloaded it yet. Have the final smash freezes been fixed in this version? Will they be fixed in the final?
Sweet finally everyones final smashes work...and that is some of the best news ive ever heard. MK needed his tornado fixed up a little. I still can't help but feel like Marth's fair is slower....not by much, a very small amount...maybe im going crazy. The sets amazing from what I can tell so far either way. All my characters feel great, really spot on for the most part. Except PS2 isn't frozen anymore? And yeah. MK's tornado endlag was toned down. He also has transcendant priority on it now, which I love.
T'was.Edit: Was Meta's tornado ending lag cut a little!? If so then thank god, the move finally feels like it has a purpose. I could be wrong because I barely used that move in the last few beta's. If anyone else thinks so please let me know so I don't feel like an idiot.
