Well, it's not THAT egregious. Nether Realm Studios clearly pulled/excluded tons of content (costumes/characters) from the base game in order to sell it to players through a "season pass" (and they're doing it again with the day 1 DLC in MKX).

I agree with most of what you said, but I feel like Retro probably wanted to make their own impression on the DK series instead of just being seen as rehashing Rare's DKC...but now that they've proven themselves, nobody would complain to see the Kremlings return in DKCR3

As long as we get the K Rool "SKRONK" in the game, I'll be happy. :) Anyone else think they might do a few DLC costume packs? (K Rool alts, Lucina Roy Alt, OoT Ganondorf, Samus' Fusion Suit?)
