Yo @ Fernosaur Fernosaur
What's the status on Metroid Prime? I haven't really played since today, I just got into Magmoor Caverns North. I am so glad I am getting to remember how amazing it is. This is a game that continually gets better and better, and seeing the nuances of the story again, being told bit by bit at my own pace and exploration is truly astonishing. I am in love again.

Digital download copies on 3DS have had some interesting corruption glitches

Someone I knew elsewhere had their game crash every time it tried to load Samus

Another guy had invisible water shurikens

@ Lavani Lavani , I'm no Falco specialist, but yeah Bair and Dtilt are easily his best kill options. Fsmash kills early but it's slow. At higher percentages, Uair is pretty good, and Fair is a decent offstage edgeguard. @ Ffamran Ffamran can confirm this for me.

I mean SideB and Dair can do meteor smash stuff, but eh, those aren't as good. Falco has troubles killing. :///

Sorry! Sometimes names just run together with me! I was addressing @ Farorae Farorae ! Sigh,.,, Ganondorf has a slight dyslexia problem..... He gets through it without flaws most of the time because he is careful, and reads and writes at high level... Yet he can sometimes make huge mistakes.... It's especially bad with numbers.

Eh, nothing I didn't know about unfortunately. Thanks for confirming.

I guess the big question now is what can he do to set things up at kill percents. Inadvertently found sideB>bair was a kill combo while pressing buttons.

In case you are still curious, I haven't played Prime since like Sunday because I've been busy. Anyways I had just beaten the rock boss thing and got the spider ball, and then I went back to the ruins and caverns to get missile upgrades.

Any of you seen the tomato glitch?
Its amazing.

the 3ds can barely run smash brothers. I feel like only nutting things would arise, but then again smash may have been supposed to be console only in the first place too

@ Ffamran Ffamran outside of bair and dtilt how does Falco kill?
Bair for quick and reliable kills, Fair for gimping and off-stage kills, Dair for situational meteors like Captain Falcon and Ganondorf's Nipple spike and stomp, and Uair juggles and kills. Up Smash can kill, but not as early as say, Yoshi or Fox's, Side Smash kills and is more of a punisher and can sort of edgeguard if he hits someone before they grab the ledge, and Down Smash kills as a good OOS option. Utilt can kill later and Dtilt kills. B-throw kills near the ledge and U-throw kills; they only kill if the opponent DIs incorrectly. I believe D-throw kills, but it's a weird thing that happens to Captain Falcon. Here's a link to the weird meteor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EseiLsMA8k.

So, not counting D-throw or Falco Phantasm, Falco has 11 reliable, kill moves. With customs, Falco gets Falco Charge and Void Reflector as other kill moves.

Table below from the Falco frame data thread: http://smashboards.com/threads/ill-...-moveset-data-datasheet-completed-wip.387402/. On Mario and center stage.
Move|KO Percent
Jab Finisher|356%
Dash Attack|222% or 272% (late hit)
Utilt|210%
Ftilt|222%
Dtilt|153% (body), 190% (tail), 228% (tail end)
Nair|241% (final hit)
Uair|180% or 892% (late hit)
Fair|194%
Landing Fair|192%
Bair|117% or 228% (late hit)
Dair|267% (meteor) or 243% (late hit)
Up Smash|909% (first hit), 153% (second hit)
Side Smash|104% (body), 108% (arms), 112% (tip), or 186% (late hit?) It might be his back; I need to check.
Down Smash|143% or 221% - I don't know why for 221%
U-throw|186%
F-throw|303%
B-throw|302% (at center stage the laser will never hit)
D-throw|367%
Falco Charge|148% or 799% (far hit)
Reflector|977%
Void Reflector|250%

It wasn't me who was playing it :p. I think it was @ Ffamran Ffamran ?
Thanks for reminding me that I need to play the Prime trilogy... So many games in my backlog...

The Wii U has some pretty interesting glitches, too. Saw this one, for example.
I might try this for myself if it hasn't been patched.

Hey, I took this page and didn't even notice :p

@ 2004Zilla 2004Zilla Did you notice the iRex's page is updated on the JW official site? Finally got all the dinos it's got genetic material from, and some random trivia.

http://www.jurassicworld.com/dinosaurs/indominus-rex/

You know, they way the park is "marketing" the iRex, it doesn't sound as different from how some zoos and safaris market their attractions :'D. I'd totally be there.

@ Lavani Lavani , I forgot about this, but for setups, Falco can apparently true combo D-throw to Bair at mid-percents on certain characters. Stringing Bairs with Falco is fun; I chained 3 of them once and it was so freaking satisfying.
Im sure everyone here after D throw uses Upsmash or nair...but i was testing the best option kills or just the best attack at high%

ON characters like c.falcon(heavy)
D throw--> Run turn jump Bair, this is a true combo and it works after 30% to 83% even can kill near the edge.

ON characters like ness(middleweight)
The same combo but with a maximum of 63-66%

ON characters like kirby(light)
Same combo but at 56-60%, max

ON super heavys like bowser, ddd lol it works 88-93%

And D throw after 100% to aprox 200% u can just full hop and shot a laser! Or 3 haha It ever hits;3 lol a true combos

Something good too. ..at 0% if u d throw a fast fall char or heavy and they dont jump or tech shot. 3 láser to laser lock him then Run grab and feel free to follow up with another attackc:

If someone before posts it im sorry if.not...try it and máster it!
So, Falco with either rely on a RAR Bair to kill. I think Falco has the best Bair in terms of speed/power since it comes out at frame 4 and kills a little under 120% at center stage, but at least the range makes it less broken. Meanwhile, in Diddy's world...

U-throw is probably Falco's best bet at later percents since Uair, Fair, Bair, and Void Reflector will kill in the air or he could just bait a landing and use Up Smash, Side Smash, Down Smash, Dtilt, or Utilt. D-throw sort of becomes useless for combos later, but it can be used to setup an off-stage Fair kill/gimp. B-throw and F-throw can do this as well. In other words, Falco is really reliant on grabs. He might have the best grab game since every grab has a use; F-throw doesn't do much aside from early on with a F-throw to Falco Phantasm or a F-throw off the ledge and a short hopped Falco Phantasm meteor.

ya other pause glitches have been found as well, GG first thing you should always test for when you debug games. (If sonic boom has taught us anything.) I'm a fan of giant jigglypuff in brawl

Eh, these percents are kind of sad for what the moves are imo. I take it bair/fair/uair/dtilt are his main kills then. His usmash is almost as bad as solo Rosalina usmash ;_; Also are these percents taken from Thinkaman's pastebin, because they don't exactly match up to ingame; Pit dies from fsmash center stage at 121%, and Mario's heavier than Pit.

The dthrow thing works on characters other than Falcon and with other characters' dthrows too. It actually reminded me of something I forgot to look into though, now I've got something else to research for the night.

I never watched this, someone just used to link this to me every day

Yeah, I read that. It definitely has the skull structure of a Rugops and the scaly bumps of a Carnotaurus, but I can't see any traces of Majungasaurus in its physical appearance.

Don't know why they gave it long arms as well, since all of the theropods they spliced I-rex with have relatively short arms.

I am very fine this cold evening, thank you! How about you, my powerful friend?
Somewhat cold, as my heating system seems to be having problems.... But that's alright. I am huddled within a blanket that my female companion made, and I have faced worse within the depths of Gerudo valley! So I am fine as well!

WAR. FLASHBACKS.
Ah, good times.. good, times.
Inb4 war flashbacks. :smirk:

... am I one of the only ones who's not afraid of spiders?
See above response. LOL.
For future reference: Never post images of fish; I have a phobia of fish. If you do, please spoiler them. Cartoon fish are fine like Nemo or the citizens of Bikini Bottom. Real fish and fish drawn to be real-like or sea creatures freak me out.
Wooooow. You're the only other person I know who shares this fear! Ahaha, small world! Whales also freak me out even though they're not technically fish. Dose fish, man....... I feel your pain.
@ kaazers kaazers , look a husky!
:smirk:
I...I already like'd it... NO SHAME.

I just about punched a wall at the cuteness of the gif @ Furret Furret posted. Foxes are too cute.

That awkward moment when some of those spider pics begin to look sort of kinda maybe cute.

They're placeholders; I actually need to test them myself. :p

The issue with Up Smash is the same issue with Zelda's Up and Side Smashes, people will fall out of them and it's more or less a combo move like Wolf's Up Smash except people didn't fall out of Wolf's Up Smash, the first hit of Wolf's Up Smash didn't send people away and whiff the second hit, and it doesn't whiff like Falco's despite Falco's foot being inside people at times.

Then there's this issue: Falco's too weak and too strong at the same time. Moves with high knockback that also have little knockback. It's this paradoxical thing about Falco where he hits both hard and weak at the same time. You can land Bair whenever, but if you're not near KO percents, then unless the opponent has a crappy recovery, they will survive. He puts people to the blastzone, but never past it unlike Ganondorf who just hits hard and boots people to the blastzone - like a boss. Luigi hits hard and weak too, but the little knockback on various moves allows Luigi to rack up damage fast and kill fast.

Wolf, I think, would be like Sheik and Luigi. He hits fast and hard and moves well in the air unlike Falco which is sad since Falco's reliable kill moves are aerials. Wolf's like Ike too, high mobility in the air, and somewhat sluggish on the ground. Falco's just sluggish overall and lacks attacks that move him forward or moves that allows him to combo well or reliably. The times people fall out of Nair and Up Smash... Utilt requires that you're up close, Ftilt is only for spacing, Jab combo gets interrupted easily, Fair has start-up, and Bair is too powerful and the late hit is still too powerful at times.

Falco is just a weaker and faster Ganondorf who has a Reflector and a projectile. Seriously, why does Falco have Wolf's Bair? There was no reason for him to have that. His Bair since Brawl was already unique since Fox switched to a whip kick and Wolf had the reverse side kick. Falco had a unique Bair, but nope, let's give him Wolf's Bair and gimp his range even more. At least the front hitbox could have protected him...

If I do test them, I might make a center stage and ledge kill percents since whenever I play as Falco, I try to kill people near the ledge rather than at the center or up in the air - top platform, center kill percents? Personally, Side Smash and Down Smash remains as a good kill moves and sometimes Up Smash too.

Yeah, I was admiring this too. I had Dark Pit fall out of my usmash three times before I finally got it to connect, and then was dismayed to see it didn't KO at 129%.

I thought uair having a "weak" hit meant it would always be able to combo into bair, but it doesn't seem like even nair is guaranteed off that hitbox. Disappointing...

I will say his lower percent combo game is pretty good though, reminiscent of Luigi in a way; lots of hits string together and each of those hits are 11%+ so damage adds up fast.

I'm playing around with master balls on Smash in order to get CDs, being lazy and not wanting to go through several more Crazy Orders sessions to get the numerous ones I know I have left to obtain. Yay for Smash w/cold hands. \o/

Whales, dolphins, and sharks - of all things - are fine. That said, being scared of sharks is more of a normal thing since THEY WILL KILL YOU. So, newts, salamanders, eels, tadpoles, deep sea creatures, and other fish or fishy critters freak me out. This is why I'm hesitant about playing Bioshock or any game that's realistic-looking and has underwater sections.

Even Cheep Cheeps are beginning to creep me out. It's probably all the 3D-ness going on...

I really like how there is no Zelda.
What do you mean? Zelda's there, see?
Here's my personal opinionated tier list

B :4link:
And a B ranking too, pretty good, Zelda, pretty good. :p

The lack of Roy is disturbing, though. :4roy:

Since when does heat tolerance have to do with manliness? Well speaking of heat tolerance I can be comfortable in high heat for up to 150 degrees, BAHAHAHAHAHA! Also, while it does get very cold to the desert, it is still very different living in a place with a cold climate. It is still a huge contrast to living in a desert. Though if you want me to prove my manliness, I could neuter you and your family! BAHAHAHAHA!
