Been watching some clips of Sonic Boom. And I can see why Lil Puddin likes it.
So self aware and just shattering the 4th wall.

That is his best nature. Draug isn't used as much as you'd think he would. He's the only tank gorl that can run a Quad Build, mostly thanks to the +6 ATK/SPD Hone Armor. He's so tanky that he can use LnD3 and STILL be considered a tank - so much so that Bonfire/Ignis are still his strongest Special Skills. Ban that gorl immediately.

I was surprised though when I watched the trailer and boy was the psychic (also he and Nia are twins??) since they played up Nia's character more in early writing/notes/teasers. Though...could they both be psychics??

So I wanna make a Calvary team now that I have Cecilia and Camus. I know Xander would be the best red option atm...buuuuut I do have a +Atk/-Res Cain that could be a fun option
But idk, maybe I'll just train up both

Also, when using Goad/Fortify/Ward/Hone skills, should I have each member have one of each, or just focus on certain ones?

You don't have to have one of each of the skills, but it doesn't hurt

Most people run ward/fortify on their offensive units and goad/hone on the tankier units, that way the offensive ones are getting the atk buffs and the walls are getting bulkier

I suggest you focus on 3 units and fill the last slot with a dancer/weekly bonus unit for your arena score

Cecilia/Marx/Camus/filler sounds really good to me

If Cecilia is running Gronnblade, then definitely make sure you're running both fortify and hone cavalry

Gah, sucks then that Camus got Goad instead of Hone or Fortify, especially since most of his skills need to be replaced already. Ah well, at least I have a second Camus to merge him with one day.

I still they they should allow level 40 units to spend crystals for SP. Especially healers, since they only get 1 SP every time they heal. It took me weeks to get Maria up to 300 for Rehabilitate

That reminds me that Xander probably needs a skill overhaul too...goddamnit. I know it can be less stressful on SP cost if I don't give him his base skills, but the completionist in me would despise it if he had skills just sitting there, unlearned

Although...I guess if I just teach him his base skills now, then later merge them with the other Xander/Camus, I would get a bunch more SP. Hmm...

Morrigan's face and Chun Li's face are tragic too. That Hyper Bar Meter is so tiny it's depressing. The graphics aren't bad, bot they feel so uninspired when compared to mvc3's really cool art style that made the characters pop like a real comic book characters. It really pisses me off that they had paid DLC already planned, and they KNEW they had a trashy starting roster like this.

If things like this don't change, I'm honestly hoping umvc3 still has a scene, because I much more satisfied in that game even with its balance issues.

ANYWAY! Y2Kay tbh that's an OK Titania build if you're running her in Horse Emblem with a Brave Axe and Iceberg. Her ideal IVs are SPD or ATK because her SPD is stupidly high so she can easily be a Quad-Gorl like Caeda or Setsuna. ATK is for her lame ATK being somewhat usable. Even with her Emerald Axe she can't kill many things she should be killing. It's pretty pathetic, tbh. Which sucks because her artwork and voice are S+ tier. RIP best horse riding gorl.

Anyway, I spent 40 dollars on some banners. I could spend another 40 for the GHB Banner, but I spent 80 on the Bride Banner so nah. I wanted to do the Weapon Triangle to get a Ruby Sword for Olivia, since my dancers are too OP for the Arena (they invite super-merged whales and whales are the worst - more on this in the ranty paragraph below). My first pull I got a 5 Star I got a M!Corrin. Then I spent the rest of my 60-ish Orbs and eventually got Hinata/Elise for my last pull. Elise was -SPD/+DEF because of course she would be.

Whale Rant: I suppose I am technically one, but after seeing how much other people spent - clearly I am the adorable little Beluga Whale. Anyway, whales are awful people. For starters they do all in their power to get easy Defense Wins. They have a level 1 Olivia/Ninian/Azura and super merged everything else. OK. Fine. Whatever. But after getting a high Defense Score for the maximum amount of feathers within the first day, they keep their cheesy team and keep getting defense wins. Usually going up against F2P players with good teams - but obviously not good enough to deal with the likes of +10 Vantage Everything Distant Counter and +10 Blade Tomers with Hone ATK Olivia as their babysitter.

Like.

Naaaaah. I got lucky with 5 Star summons and merged them (see Ike/Mist/Titania/Soren). After I saw the TRUE Whale Arena from using them I was 100% done with merging and spending tons of orbs to get the right IVs (I easily spent 200 on banners like the Telius one or the Magic Gorl Banner).

I can meet the whales because I am a whale with a few select units. But I'm not a 3,000+ dollar whale (tbh if you spend 200~500 dollars on the same banner and merge a lot you can see Srs Whales too). Unless, of course, they also spent around 1,300 (I think I'm at 1,400 after the Bride Banner/Triangle Banner) and happened to have a pull rate of 15~20% for 5 Stars. I doubt it, though. Since the whales I've seen tend to complain about spending 300+ each desirable banner and getting garbage for every single pull. Unless by garbage they mean things like a +ATK/-DEF Ike. I would like that garbage. Give me the garbage. I am a little trash baby. Pls shower me in that garbage.

Still pretty salty about merging Ike and Soren (now I can't use them for normal Arena). Learned my lesson the hard way, with actual cash, and incredible luck even after considering my already good luck. Hopefully you gorls know to NOT merge. Unless, like, it's +1 or +2 because you pulled a unit with better IVs. Go above 5+ and you may as well just prepare to be whale food. RIP. I suppose you COULD try to win, but they have things like Vantage/Close Counter/Etc. to prevent you from scoring too high.

tbh it's OK to do it once. I don't do it and get 200~300ish Defense wins with my normal setup atm. Nothing too fancy except Reinhardt being Reinhardt.

But those guys keep it that way in hopes of getting even better scores somehow. Like wtf. You already got above 400. There's no reason to get a higher score. Stop griefing those poor gorls. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

But... they can't even see your star rating before the match? And why would any battle vs a singer/dancer be easy? Rating doesn't matter with them as much either, a 3 star Olivia is gonna dance the exact same as a 5 star one. Dancers are scarier than horse emblem teams most of the time honestly.
Still proud of my Anna bait into Oboro, Eph, and Rein back when people still thought a team of 4 reds was a good team Wish they still did though, it'd make Arena much easier for me

I mean, she doesn't have a -breaker skill, a special, or Quick Riposte like Arthur, Narcian, Subaki, and Sully do.

For the record, Titania's attack is higher than Sully, but Sully being able to guarantee doubles on sword units would let her kill them, especially the squishy and fast ones. Palla, Stahl, and Titania have more defensive or support-focused B-skills, with Stahl's probably being the worst. Azura is a support unit who happens to be strong and fast, but still not fast enough at times and Hinata has Brash Assault which while niche, still lets him double if he's at low HP, but only against units who can counter back. Palla and Titania are at least fast, but like Azura, sometimes aren't fast enough. Stahl doesn't have that luxury.

Anyway, I'm imagining you slowly becoming a bigger whale as you spend money on this game. At the beginning, it's like you're a little Wailmer and as you keep spending more and money, you evolve into the humongous Wailord.

And yeah, while it's nice that she can have a breaker (and should), most units don't need them to nuke targets they have 40% extra damage against... She's not hopeless, she's at least hovering between A and B tier. I plan on making a Quadtania eventually.

I like my blue wall Titania, but I didn't have a choice to begin with since she's +Res, -Atk. It's fun having blue mages do little to no damage. And then when -blade tomes are involved, Titania dies to +Atk Reinhardt if he has Blarblade+ and Death Blow 3 in 2 shots... Why. ._.

Eventually, we'll get an axe cavalier with stats similar to Abel, Cain, and Peri who will be awesome with a Brave Axe since they can potentially double with the right skills and stats. The only one I can think of is Kieran from the Tellius games and he's literally axe Cain. At least with the other games, the Cain characters were a bit different like with Forde, Kent, Saizo, and Sully, but dude looks like Cain with dark red hair.

Didn't get an +Atk/-Spd Reinhardt (this one is +HP/-Res, rip) but my other one was +Def/-Atk, so at that point I just used my +HP one because honestly any Reinhardt that isn't -Atk is still a good Reinhardt.

+Spd/-Res Titania, so I gave her Moonbow (which I still need to learn) instead of Iceberg. Would do Quadtania but I want to keep her as a dedicated blue killer. The plan is to give her Distant Counter if I can get Hector. Preferably two, since I'd actually like to keep one. But that's a pretty tall order for this game so I'll probably just throw Fury on her if I can get another Hinata. She's also the last unit on this team that I need to promote. (5'd Camus first for Gradivus)

No idea what to do for Camus. He could probably rock Xander's build better than Xander himself since Camus can actually double. But then I wouldn't know what to do for Xander's new build, and I want to do something different for Camus, so there's that.

Anyway, I personally gave my Camus Fury 3, Vantage, and Hone Cavalry - with Bonfire as his special. He seems to be the better unit to have for Horse Emblem. Except Rein is already the perfect blue unit... Then again, Camus can give you an easier deathless run since Rein dies if he's attacked by many different units.

I loved Horse Emblem, but now it bores me to tears since it's just so easy. I never once thought "Oh no, how will I ever win this?" I just mindlessly moved one character to a target and done. With a balanced team (2 infantry, 1 tank, 1 cavalry) it feels like an actual Hard Mode Fire Emblem game where each move is important.

I'm going to work on Olivia next since I have a Ruby Sword to give her.

Benishigure those names gorl oml. I read Bootleg Camus as Bootleg Xander at first and expected Camus. I'm tired and should be sleeping now but Echoes is infinitely more important so yeah. I've gotten to the point where Celica's team can actually deal with all of the bs that the game thows at you so I gotta keep going!
And I should give my team members strange names too. No pictures so you'll just have to guess the team but I think there's a picture of it a few posts back.

Soooo... I found out I can run voice changers to laglessly change my voice - like, Overwatch picks it up too.

I tried the manly version and found it was cartoonishly deep, so I guess my normal speaking voice isn't too bad. Then I tried the womanly version and it sounded off when I tried to do accents/speak normally. But then I threw some sparkle on it and activated my sass voice.

I sound like my aunts/cousins/stereotypical latina now. Pls help me. (I am 25% Puerto Rican so apparently all my latinx has concentrated into the sass part of my speech center and also my tastebuds)

edit: I can't sing without the voice changer omg no. How am I supposed to do my OH HELL NAAAAW, HELL TO THE NO whenever Winston jumps on me omg noooooooo.

Either way this is going to make comp 50x more fun because I get to mess with people while also taking comp seriously. Yeeeeeee goooooorl.

- Finally got the port/update we've been pining for
- all the arcade characters and balance updates + Decidueye
- portable
- will reach a much bigger audience and revives the game's potential as a competitive fighter
- will be much easier to make 1v1 matches
- FULL BIRD STARTER TEAM WITH 3v3 so my dream come true

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon:
- not the Sinnoh everyone expected, but personally I'm far from dissapointed
- like seriously I adored Alola so I'm super happy
- I GET TO PICK POPPLIO AGAIN YAY
- Pls let Lillie and Gladion switch roles so we have Edgy Lillie and Sweet and Soft Gladion
