Long story time! I'm slowly typing this/putting in pics as I wait for OW games... I wonder how long it'll take. Anyway!

So Gar/my BF brought his sister's laptop over so we could watch movies on my big screen TV. After that I start cooking and he gets nosy with his little sister's laptop. He sifts through some game folders and finds a kinda-in-place but kinda-fishy folder inside another folder. So he clicks it and OOOOOOOO BOY thar be Dating Sim games in thar! So ofc we giggle and play them. The writing in those things are atrocious and now we know his little sister is a weeb gorl. I think one was called Allstar and another was Personality? I forgot tbh. They were meh. Very anime. Cringe to the max. We were wondering why anyone would play them.

When we play we suddenly realize that it's actually the brown haired guy in the gray shirt coming out to his friends/roomies Purple Hair Gorl Penny and BroDude Ian (he's in the green shirt with the flippy 70's hair) and then it goes into dating sim mode. So it's a gay dating simulator. Then me and Gar look at each other and are all like OOOOOOOH NOOOOOOOOOOO. We play anyway.

We both discover quickly that I am indeed Penny/Purple Haired Gorl IRL. The writing was good enough to stay interesting, funny but not over the top, though there were some cringe lewd options that made it seem like a 12 year old wrote a fanfic (probably done jokingly). We read it aloud and I was Penny/Main Char and he was Brad/Ian/etc. The options were 25% lewd 75% normal. We stayed away from the lewd options, secretly hoping they wouldn't show anything lewd. We tried to date the red headed guy named Brad because Gar wanted to date himself I guess. Side fact: Brad is 6'5" which is Junkrat's height so that means Brad is the only true husbando of this game. And it turns out that Gar would be very good at dating a fellow bro, because he chose all the right answers for dating Brad.

Thanks to the writing in THIS game we got the idea that people liked these games for the story - when done right. It was very entertaining and funny without relying on slap-stick or HURHUR AAAAAAWKWAAAAAAAARD moments. Normal awkward moments are OK, but over the top ones that are OOC or forced are dumb.

BUT THEN UNLIKE THE OTHER 2 GAMES.

Given some of the earlier options, the game featuring lewd things wasn't too unexpected. I think we were just hoping it WOULDN'T show pictures. Oops again. If it were just dating and not x-rated reward pictures then it'd be fine. Are all Dating Sims actually porno games if you progress enough? If that's the case his 11 year old sister... Is... A gamer heaux.

As for the run... Well it was pretty entertaining, got unnecessarily lewd 2 times before the final BIG LEWD. Though when Brad had to stay over to finish the paper with your help, hilarity ensued as Penny burst her way in to make sure nothing happened(WINK)/Brad could finish his paper. Penny supped up Brad's computer and when (PLAYER) asked what about his laptop she says "Oh, you just have to stick to text only documents and ACSII pictures."

Ian was acting like an over-protective big brother and didn't want the "selfish big dumb jock" to take advantage of (PLAYER) so that was sweet I guess. He bursts in the room and goes "Hey (PLAYER) did you see my nun-chucks? My master said I'm too deadly with them and I wanted to turn them in before I accidentally killed someone."

"Gee, I dunno, maybe they're at the dojo with your katana."

Brad was nice about it. He was all like "Penny is cool and smart" and "Ian must be pretty tough" in his oddly adorable way.

Gar: I'm surprised they didn't have a "hurrdurr lez hav 3sum ian/brad huuuur" option.
Me: Did you want that to happen?
Gar: No because the "gay dudes wanna do it all the time" stereotype is lame. I mean, if it meant more thicc pecs I wouldn't have been too mad.

10/10 would legit play this game just for the story. We can also skip over the lewd parts so that's good. We can remain relatively untainted and pure gorls. I'll probably make long posts about those too... Unless the Brad Path was the least lewd and the other ones are going to be lewd every 2 minutes. Then I'll just stop playing the game because no thanks I don't need porn in my life because I am a good gorl.

Penny is the best character in the game. She is also not a dirty heaux. Her presence cleansed our souls.

Edit: Holy crap that too over 3-4 hours of game time to complete. I wonder how many spelling mistakes/other mistakes I made. Surprised I had 1-2 minute waiting times for Comp, tho.

Burgundy , F!Robin might be better off being a M!Robin than using Gronnblade. Considering cavalry and flyer buffs, Gronnblade goes better with Cecilia and Spring Camilla. Also, Nino naturally has higher attack even with -Atk compared to F!Robin who has a static 29 base attack as a 5*; a -Atk 5* Nino has 30 base attack. Julia can also benefit from Gronnraven because her attack is so damn high.

The main thing is that of the mages in the game, physically tanky ones tend to be really good -raven tome users since healers generally aren't scary while archers and thieves can be. For one, Spring Camilla can actually fight against archers if she has Gronnraven and T-Adept 3. Of the currently available green mages, only Spring Camilla, Merric, and F!Robin have high defense, but Merric has his own special tome, Excalibur, which is effective against flyers so he might want to use that rather than Gronnraven.

As far as cannot unsee, if you accidentally come across an LP on YouTube and are curious enough to watch on, you find yourself in for a sudden and unholy surprise when all of a sudden main character is Ness back thrown into a ridiculous sex situation repeatedly in at least one storyline.

It seems like a few of the storylines have wholly unnecessary situations where MC can do or witness nasTy things not for children. IDK if because it was so unholy that it seemed like they came up too often, but I think you can avoid some of it

That is a good point. But damnit I'm already making Sophia into a Red Robin, making another m!Robin copy would feel redundant.

Cecilia with -Def becomes even more fragile than she is and when you factor in her below average speed, it's worse. She's probably better of using Gronnblade and being part of a cavalry team or at least on a team with buff skills to just one-shot units in general.

Edit: Gronnblade on F!Robin is fine, but Gronnraven just works and is proven with M!Robin and kind of Henry, but he's slow and his attack is low, so... yeah... But gah it's so hard to make a decision. Gronnraven is probably better, but it'll take me forever to get access to Triangle Adept again, when other characters I'm training already need it.

I think one of my big issues is being too afraid to use Fury. Constant damage after every fight stresses me out and makes me want to bring healers even though I know they're just dead weight

He doesn't do forums. So you can just fight him IRL. He is stronk so he will break you but smol so all you have to do is go up a tree and throw things at him to win. It'd basically be like trying to fight Little Mac on the Duck Hunt stage. :^)

Had my meeting yesterday with my TA, so I now figured out what to do for this week and the next. Just got to get everything else together and then work on the final piece. So fingers crossed I'll get it all done by then.

Also, for those who play Pokemon Shuffle. The Alola Pokemon are now available (Finally). Managed to get about four of them so far (Oranguru, Wishiwashi, Mimikyu and Salandit). Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest eventually.

They're basically going for the model that NetherRealm is selling Injustice 2 with.

The difference is NetherRealm has the last two Mortal Kombat games and Injustice I, plenty of developer-to-audience interaction and transparency, lots of balance patches, and sticking to their promises to show that they're good for it, and even then it's pretty ridiculous.

Capcom...really doesn't that consumer confidence. MvCI should really be the game that they ought be going to really big lengths to not **** it up like they did with Street Fighter. And continue to do with Street Fighter.

Going radio silent since the game's announcement for five months, then announcing DLC season passes and $129.99 limited edition copies for a game we haven't seen gameplay footage of since it's reveal trailer really isn't how one goes about inspiring, let alone rekindling, confidence.

And even then, the reveal trailer made it look like it was basically copy and pasting movesets from UMvC3, which means it's possibly basically the same game, only everyone is super ugly now except for newcomers Captain Marvel and X.

Went over to have late dinner with Gar. Turns out his OTHER sister also plays those games too. His littlest sister plays for the romantic parts because her school library doesn't have many romance novels. The best part about the conversations besides all the awkward parts was "mom said I shouldn't look at adult stuff, but she said reading is good so reading adult stuff is fine!" She uses post-its or her hand to cover any naughty parts.

She also told us we can use the mouse wheel to go forward and backwards, so we don't have to save/reload to try ALL the different variations when dating just one guy. But we had the option to not do the lewd things and just untie him and be all "dude ur dum but i luv u i guess." Ian was only running from the lovey-dovey thoughts because he was afraid he'd lose Mark as a friend if things went wrong. It's cliche, but nice since it's something that's actually common. The arc was kind of cute because Ian always had a crush on Mark. Ian's behavior make sense in more than a Big Brother kind of way. Happy to be his best friend even though he wants more - which must be why he's so protective of Mark. The way they initially met was beyond adorable too.

Mark was very nervous, clung to the wall being adorable and shy.
Ian came up and said nothing as he put on a top hat.
Mark laughed - "What's with the hat?"

This game is an emotional rollercoaster of HA AW EW. It's really fun to play/read when drinking with someone else. Ian was somewhat naughty, but not a lewd boy with tons of lewd pictures (until the end I guess, there were probably more besides the one we saw if we went with the SUPERLEWD option). Either way we will dub Ian as the Pure Cinnamon Roll Husbando.

Misty Lee's take on Titania makes her sound like Lin Beifong. I need Titania now. Then again, I was aiming for her and Ike in the first place, but I think I'd rather have RD Ike in hopes he's voiced by Jason Adkins. Greg Chun does work for a younger Ike, but I want older, ripped Ike.

Also, I just realized red is the only group without a female cavalier or a mounted mage; blue has Peri, Sully, and Ursula and green now has Cecilia and Titania. The only female cavaliers that I remember who isn't Sophie from Fates or Neimi and Selena who can be promoted into Bow Knights which if that's the case, then Neimi and an eventual Selena duplicate should be rather than sword cavaliers or re-classed as a cavalier, is Isadora from Blazing Sword who does favor swords based on her weapon-ranking. There's also Mathilda from Gaiden, but she apparently shows up on Alm's path, so it would be weird if she showed up with Celicia's banner and Mathilda's official art for Gaiden shows her with a lance, so, there's that too.

On the flipside, red has no male flyer. I think there might have been sword-wielding wyvern riders in the older Japan-only games, so they could work, but they'd be obscure to overseas fans. Cormag, Heath, Melady, Vaida, and Zeiss would be better off as lance-wielding wyvern riders even though in those games, they could use swords as Wyvern Lords.

Speaking of reds, Navarre is 2 levels away from being level 40 as a 3* since it's apparently doable for him to finish off Lunatic Navarre and definitely doable with him on F!Robin's map. Donnel and Olivia on the other hand... 6 levels left. Ephraim's -Def is really hurting him when he's slow. Barst ignores it even though he's a 3* since he has a Brave Axe to tear people up, but every now and again when Ephraim can't one-shot people, he ends up dangerously close to dying a lot.

There was some ad when loading OW about being able to unlock 20 free characters in HotS. The heals**t pack had Lucio and Zarya in it so that sounds perfect for me. But if 2 of my favorite OW characters still make HotS boring then yeah I'm giving up on it.
idk when we wanted to do all of this insanity, but the D Va skin shouldn't be available yet so let's just worry about it later.

So I checked Harmonix's website for fun (I think working there would be my dream job, I've been thinking more about it lately). 2 things caught my eye.
1. THIS GAME CALLED CHROMA WAS ANNOUNCED IN 2014 BUT WAS CANCELLED BUT I NEEEEEED THIS GAME TO BE UNCANCELLED. It's a class-based fps (so tl;dr Overwatch), but since it's Harmonix, it's rhythm based. So performing certain actions to the beat of the music would increase your damage/effect of whatever it was that you were doing. This is 110% something that I would love.
2. Dance Central (the series from them that I play the most, I've mentioned it here a few times) got a new game! And... it's a dating sim with characters from the game? Puddin, you and Gar need to avoid this but also play it to see if it's actually mildly decent or something. Glitch and Lil T are the game's cinnamon rolls but they're, like, 12 or something. Hopefully this is set when they're adults or maybe they're side characters, but who would even do this in the first place. Why. They need to go back to twerking to Nicki Minaj music or just anything else. :<
