I'm going to lend my goddessT Anna for yew all to use. There's only 1 red unit in the banner and I don't really think Palla will get past the first round unless she gets matched up against Subaki, so every1 is gonna die basically. Have fun, drive safe, come back home before 11.

Anyways I asked on reddit but nobody answered in the 15 minutes before the post got deleted so... should I give my +Res Eirika Iceberg? Her +Res nature puts her at 31 and 30 or above imo is good enough for Iceberg, so should I use it? Should I use Glacies despite the higher charge time? Just be lazy and slap on Moonbow again? Honestly letting other people inherit Moonbow is Palla's best use I'm not sorry

Yeah, you should have given him Quick Riposte which would also mean ditching Fury since you need to be at high HP to have Quick Riposte to work.

Basically, so long as you have your HP above a certain threshold, you will always follow-up if an enemy initiates combat against you which for Draug is pretty easy against any physical unit since he has the highest defense of the knights available. While his speed is the highest of all knights, it's probably better for an enemy phase unit to have a different weapon like Killing Edge or Silver Sword for Draug it probably better than a Brave Sword. Armorslayer too, but not a lot of knights in general even if a lot of people use knights and while a Ruby Sword is good, if it's not against a green unit, it might mean Draug is missing out on damage. Oh, and if you're one of those lucky people, Wo Dao+ is great for Draug too.

Whatever, you have a ton of SP, you could get different skills letting you equip Draug with whatever you want for whatever situation, but I think a Quick Riposte Draug build was the one that was said to make the upcoming Navarre map trivial according to theories on what the units will be and what their stats are like.

Fastest knight in the game followed by Sheena at 25 average speed, Gwendolyn and Hector at 24 average speed, Effie at 22 average speed, and I think Zephiel has 16 speed. Apparently, this matches his stats in Shadow Dragon where despite being a knight, his stat growths favored skill and speed and you can make him a glass cannon in the remakes. The only difference is that in the original game, his defense growth was 10% for a knight. Yeah. If it was like that in Heroes, he'd have the lowest defense which would suck. The remakes gave him 30% (Shadow Dragon remake) and 55% (New Mystery remake) defense growths.

If you want to win then Camilla is the safest bet considering her fanbase.

Camilla is nice to piggyback on if you want the easy 500 feathers for winning, but like team Lucina last time since she had so many players, you'll need a LOT more points to rank on the leaderboards to get any kind of actual feathers. So if you want a kinda small reward without doing much then go Camilla. If you'll play a lot, I'd go with Cherche probably. She's popular enough that you may win a few games (unless she goes against Camilla round 1), but not too popular that you'll need to play 24/7 to get anything beyond the 500 for winning.

Picking a leader is a tough choice for this one. The most reliable would be colorless imo. Since people will use a lot of the character they voted for, you'll probably see a lot more axe units in general. And since 3/8 are blue, green would be the most reliable choice for either a mostly neutral or advantageous battle. BUUUUUT red units are everywhere and even though you prob won't see them as much as you would in the Arena, they'll still be there. Last gauntlet was easy since there were no green units and green units aren't that popular in general; just pick a blue and have fun winning everything. This gauntlet I'd say just wait and see. But set it as Karel anyways since he seems fun to use and I'll never summon him.

I asked about 2 hours ago, but I haven't received an answer. Might have asked in the wrong place since there is both a Skill Inheritance Discussion thread and a question thread. Asking about what special for a character might have been better for the question thread since it's not an exact build. That and I've noticed that Serene's Forest, well, in the FE Heroes board, slows down in activity near midnight central time and it's also a weekday, so there's that too. Meanwhile, on the Zelda social where it's 1:00 in morning and people are still posting.

Thing is I have the same question since I don't have anyone with Iceberg -- Niles, like every archer in this stupid game, refuses to show up --, but I do have an extra Iceberg because of Shanna. Eirika's defense boon and resistance, neutral or boon, are good, but they're not Caeda, Selena, Subaki, etc. good, so I don't know. That said, getting 80% out of her resistance is still a lot of damage. Just gonna have to wait since it might actually be better for her to get Luna or Moonbow while someone else with higher defense and resistance use Bonfire/Iceberg and Ignis/Glacies.

I should really follow the Skill Inheritance thread -- I don't think there's an auto-follow option which is on by default if you make an account on Smashboards. Serene's Forest has a smoother reply notice e.g. if BJN39 just posted, I'd have an immediate notification showing that, but it's a bit different with some things like making spoilers is more annoying than on Smashboards.

There were some discussions about how Gaius (and Jakob and Saizo) could be better a Kagero, especially Gaius since his neutral speed is higher than hers -- 36 to Kagero's 32 -- and with an attack boon, he'd have 32 attack -- same as Jakob and Saizo with attack boon -- which would be fine with a Poison Dagger -- someone said that he's pretty much held back by his Rogue Dagger which really is the worst of the other daggers. The main thing is that both Gaius and Saizo are easier to hunt for a good boon/bane than Kagero (and Jakob) and you really only need a Kagero, preferably a 5* one, to just dump a Poison Dagger on either of them and then slap on Life & Death on them to make them ridiculous.

Also, Quadsuna. And I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs wondering what it would be like to even have a Setsuna to use.

Since you mentioned it, does anyone have a unit they want to use, but don't have or have at a high level?

Edit: I just realized that I have never had a unit with any of the Retribution branch skills. I think the closest I've gotten to that was a re-roll where Tharja showed up and having used a Takumi during the last Voting Gauntlet which I think didn't activate since he and everyone else killed everything before it could activate.

That was a MILLION TIME EASIER than Michalis. Like, it's not even comparable. I used 5 Star Marth, 5 Star Hector, 4 Star Sharena, and 4 Star m!Robin. All level 40, except Hector who's level 34

My """""strategy""""" was just to make Hector absolutely murder the two Thieves who thought throwing toothpicks at the steel wall with eye lasers was a good idea. Sharena was there to buff Hector so that he'd kill the thieves in one turn. Navarre died instantly to m!Robin. Marth easily killed the Axe user and the Cleric.

Hector has now been my easy solution for both Michalis and Navarre. Honestly why do they bother making focuses with characters making up a clever strategy when they could just give everyone 4 Hectors lol

I already got his 3 Star as well...doesn't seem like he has any good skills to pass down at 3 Stars though. Just Desperation 1 or Threaten Spd 2. Or his special I guess but those take so long to do anything.

what if i told you that in Shadow Dragon Draug went full on Glass Cannon with his personal growths and used the Knight class's Stone Wall growths to balance himself out

So... Did 3 rounds of summoning. Got:
5 star Minerva (Mineva is usable +HP/-RES, she is a good unit by default as long as she's not -ATK or -SPD so yay)
5 star Cherche (-ATK lmaolmaolmao naaaah)
5 star Camilla (+ATK/-HP, but her Brave Axe can go to a better unit probably)
4 star Tharja (-4 HP bcuz yea that makes sense and is SO fair but +3 speed so yay)
4 Star Hawkeye (oops praying to the Bara God has gotten me Bara, but not the kind I wanted RIP)
4 star Klein (so now I have 2 sources of Death Blow 3 aaaaay)
4 star Reinhardt (+ATK/-SPD again, he will get DB3 for sure)

I also have a bunch of Cordelias, 3 of which have +ATK/-HP so IDK if I should use her or not. I also have +ATK/-DEF Abel which may be better than her? I also somehow got Hinoka a while ago, because there she is in my character roster... Except her stats suck. I must've forgot because Lord of the Thighs is bleh as a unit/character when compared to Cordelia. She is good for Goad Flyer and Minerva has Ward Flyer, so I can just pass Goad to Cordelia and make a flyer team. I have 3 bad Pallas and Spring-Camilla (albeit, not a good IV spread but still usable). So I could totally make a flyer team that's good. I would most likely give Bunilla my 5 star Nino's book, since Flyer buffs = 20 ATK for Bunilla lolRIP. Though I've heard Triangle Adept + Cecilia's book = dead silvers and dead blues. But we need more Sword Fliers because having only 1 is DUMB. :T

I went through my units and decided to see who's good or not. I still have a bunch to go through, but 200 is a lot and with how my eyes work it's easy to skip over characters that are just sitting there staring right back at me. Like how I missed Hinoka. OOPS

+ATK/-RES Cecilia (-DEF is preferred but this is a good second), though I may never use her anyway.
+SPD/-DEF Robin (-RES is preferred, but this is a good second), I MIGHT use him one day.
+ATK/-RES Frederick (best nature for BA+ Freddy boi, I have a 3* or 4* version of this so IDK which to start with)
+ATK/-HP Eliwood or +SPD/-DEF Eliwood (both are almost good so it's OK)

I have more Cordelias than you. :^)

But ye, Iceberg on Eirika is pretty decent. However Moonbow might be better since it has 2 turns for activation. Moonbow in general seems to be the Go-To and is plentiful thanks to Odins being all over the place. The only exceptions would be Brave-Attackers who should get Luna instead of Moonbow. Because:
1) If they are attacked and survive, it won't be wasted on the wrong enemy.
2) If they aren't attacked, they will proc it for the 2nd hit of their Brave Weapon.

After grinding all day, I still only get 3 star repeats of old characters. in the past two weeks I've only gotten one new four star that doesn't suck, and that's Hawkeye(even then, he's meh). I got a 3 star robin a while back, and I've been grinding to make him on par with my other units.

Hawkeye is only good for the Bara Factor, tbh. Death Blow 2 is good if you don't have 3, though, you would probably be better off using +3 ATK over Death Blow 2 anyway.

-ATK/+SPD (or vice versa) and -DEF/+RES (or vice versa). I have 4 Eliwoods. IDK how this even happened. HELP. Does his weapon stack with Death Blow or Sparrow? If so I might just use the -ATK one and hit him with Sparrow. It'd essentially fix his -ATK nature by 1 point when attacking AND give him +7 speed over his neutral nature when attacking... I doubt they stack tho.

He's good for his book and not much else.

TBH the fact you got a 4 star Odin is a great thing, since he is quality fodder.

I am building a horsie team and have all my fodder required. It's just I really need a lot of SP.

BTW should I train Freddy from 3 stars or 4 stars (he is going to need 1500ish SP)? The first unit I will 5 star will be Eliwood for his special sword.

If that's how you feel, definitely not the Pegasus Banner.

I'd probably recommend the Green Banner for the better 5* chances and three of them just being solid units to have if you have to spend the orbs or something, though that does depend somewhat on what you already have.

In a vacuum, the two best units currently in a focus at the moment is Effie and Kagero though, but the roll chances on that one is really poor due to the color spread.

True about Hinata, he is a good unit to pull. Though it'd be for quick-burn units, which would definitely want some form of sustain and Moonbow or perhaps Reprisal. While Brave-Weapon users aren't expected to double, so Death Blow would be better use of an A slot skill. People like Hinata for the +12 BST for more Arena Points. But that's slated to change, so that might mean Fury will go into the trash... For some units. For units like Dancers it is still ideal so they don't get doubled and can survive almost anything thrown at them. Self-substain units that are grossly OP like +SPD Lucina will probably like it too since it'd make her double almost everything and kill everything.

Moonbow is a well thought out placement for most characters. The reason being is:
1) Most units, when fighting what they should fight, will only need a SMALL nudge to kill their foe if they're +DEF/+RES/+HP. For example, Lucina vs +DEF Hector. If she has Moonbow, she will hit him, be hit by him, and her 3rd hit will activate Moonbow. He is dead and she is at half HP. If he lives, she will be gravely injured/will die. If Hector is +HP/+DEF boon then forget about it without +ATK buffs or +ATK Nature. This is the most extreme example of "fighting things you could/should fight" tho.

2) Characters in the Arena are expendable and aren't slated to last for long, so you'd rather get a meh ability off vs a potentially OP one. Glimmer and Luna are popular ones. For Defending , it's best to have defensive skills of some kind. For story mode it's whatever. AIs won't make the most out of attack abilities anyway.

3) Bait and murder w/ Killer Weapons (or special weapons with -1 Trigger). Some killer weapon users are not guaranteed to double and their base attack is meh. So they bait a unit, get hit, and either outright delete them OR just ez kill them next round. Reprisal might be the better option, but that means risk is involved to continuously use that Special. While Moonblow is a guaranteed 6~12 damage every other tick/round without needing to be damaged (so it's less of a 1-trick-pony routine).

Though Moonbow is more of a "blanket easy to use Special" since it works in a lot of cases with the current meta/line of units. Luna or Glimmer may be ideal depending on your unit. Like a Brave Weapon user will want Luna, while a Killer Weapon user (w/ baiting implied) would work better with Reprisal. Thankfully there's some flexibility so you can build a team with different Specials at the very least. Moonbow is a godsend for the slow nukers, though.
