If any of you guys are artistic at all could you help me out by making a profile picture for my YouTube page? I would try to draw something but I'm about as talented as a wilted tulip when it comes to drawing.
My personal favorite Zelda game is Twilight Princess. The music was phenomenal and the art direction is basically what I'm truly looking for when it comes to Zelda games. I mean, I love the cute cel-shaded design of Wind Waker and Zelda U but that's honestly not what I'm in a mood for when it comes to epic games like these. Just personal preferences and all that. The gameplay was perfect. How? They didn't change anything with the gameplay mechanics except they removed the magic meter but the core itself (Z-targeting, pressing the A button for contextual attacks and pressing B to simply attack) remained. It's even perfectly fine to play the game with the Wiimote+Nunchuk if you bought it for the Wii. The controls and gameplay (surprisingly despite the inclusion of motion controls) still feel the same. All the boss fights felt unique and epic. All of the bosses had something menacing about them or something quirky about their design that made them stand out from each other. The methods of beating the bosses were kind of predictable since it usually goes by the idea of "Use your new gadget to beat the boss" but it's not necessarily a bad thing if it's done right and imo, Twilight Princess does it perfectly. My only gripe with the game is the pacing of the story, Twilight fetch quests (gross), it can feel a bit on the easy side at times, and the open world kinda feels... "empty" at times
@EODM07
I feel like your Wario is pretty good. I liked how you were fading back with the aerials, but don't get impatient and commit a move while I'm shielding. That's an easy punish. If I keep shielding your attacks just fast fall an empty hop and grab me! Also, be careful with spotdodging! I baited it with Ike's jab, so you couldn't do anything but eat a f-smash. I don't really know any Wario specific stuff though, sorry :^( I guess you can try to harass me with the bike a bit more, but I really don't know anything else for him.
For Kirby, I really don't know lol
I didn't really play your Ike enough to come up with something
Good to hear. So I'll just need to do some of those and I'll be golden. Just need to be wary of Mario/Luigi/Doc since they can act out from the DTilt hitlag and do Jabs.
Also, ain't using Sheik.
I said I'll try out Ike, Wario and Kirby. And Wario seems to be my best out of those three. I'll see if I can at least win maybe 4-5 matches today with , if I can't, well he's getting replaced with .
The only Zelda game I haven't played is Four Swords Adventures.
You know which game I rarely see anyone talk about? The Minish Cap. Like, everyone praises Link's Awakening as the best handheld Zelda, and don't get me wrong it's my favourite too, but my heart has a soft spot for The Minish Cap. I loved that game <3 I cosplayed Vaati too for a convention like 3 years ago lmao
But good lawd Link's Awakening tore me apart like. What is this game even how dare you do that to me.

Just having my breakfast and about to do some research on some artists such as Paul Rand and Robert Brownjohn for Uni.

Well, my Youtube channel is "McKnightlight" and I thought it would be funny to play off of that pun even further and have my profile pic be a knight's helmet with light emitting from it (and maybe even show it's plugged into a wall).
But I suck at drawing so I can only come up with it in my mind.

Favorite Zelda is OoT. OoT 3D has slightly worse art direction, imo, but I appreciate the extra features and better graphics.
But I'm not a purist, I swear. I love pretty much the entire series and I've played every main series game. inb4 someone makes a CD-i joke.

As for favourite Zelda game... has to be Link between Worlds, I never grew up with the older Zelda games, and I honestly didn't really enjoy OOT much, my first Zelda game was Twilight Princess which was enjoyable, but I stopped playing when
I just have a slingshot on the floor in front of the train station, that way I can quickly run back to get it with out the balloon disappearing.
I was awake during the Zelda talk when it started but I'll five my opinions now lol.
1. Wind Waker
First game bias, but I really love it. I don't have a preference toward the original or HD version, they are both fun.
2. Skyward Sword
I like motion controls. I use then in every game if there is an option. (Except Splatoon that feels so weird waving a smaller but thicker iPad around to aim.) The game itself was also fun, and the art style looked great.
3. Minish Cap
Still haven't beated the final boss yet oops. I don't really like the handheld Zelda games, but this one is actually really good! Also my favorite 2D Zelda game.
Don't really know after there. I've played every game except for 4 Swords Adventures. (And the CDI games but nobody wants to play those.) Least favorite is Phantom Hourglass. Why do I need to play through the same dungeon 4 or 5 times and with a time limit? Just no.
Thank you. Someone who notices TP is just pure fan service. Edit: It's not the art, it's the story and everything in it. The howling songs? Pure fan service. Eagle eye? Fan service. Riding non-horses? Fan service.
Skyward Sword is my favorite. Game was linear as hell, but it felt like reading a really good book. Character design/development was awesome and I felt a real attachment to the story. The game itself was just beautiful and don't get me started on the music. I couldn't put that game down when I got it.
Peach floating in 3d World is reusing a feature. Lighting torches in 3d World to access a hidden room where there is a 16 bit Link is Zelda fan service. Twilight Princess lands closer to lighting torches than Peach floating.
There's a lot more than bomb arrows as fan service in TP. Almost everything in that game is a nod to previous titles. It even had a Smash bros reference. -_____-
Edit: Not against fan service. Hyrule Warriors is probably amazingly fun and serves that purpose very well (haven't gotten around to getting it yet). But if you're going to make a console Zelda, it should be at the standard that has been established by console Zelda games. The fan service detracted from any originality/development Twilight Princess contributed to the series.
