Somebody in the Shulk boards found out that with Shield activated there isn't enough hitstun to do the infinite until very high percents (Shield lowers the time Shulk is paralyzed for.) You can also switch arts during the infinite so it isn't really an infinite on him

waves stop working after a certain percent qa fills in the end part of the stock
although waves alone would give you enough mileage anyways

So...you're basically asking if it forces you into shield? I guess it does, but what can Pikachu get off of a grab? Uthrow to Thunder if they don't DI for some reason, some low percent combos, and really high percent bthrow kills? Doesn't sound very threatening at mid percents, which is when this infinite would theoretically happen anyway
