I am an Olimar main, with DK and Bowser being me secondaries. (and a little GW but whatever) I beat my brother every. single. time. usually by 2 stocks, (in a 3 stock match). now i rember reading in the thread they have in the tactical discussion room that zelda was... i think something like doomed to mid tier or sumthing because of the difficulty of sweetspotting. well my brother practiecd sweet spottimg all of zeldas moves for hours. He sweet spot EVERY SINGLE TIME

now im being owned.

so what i have to say is, i belive sweet spotting can put zelda up tiers... granted some people hate that (olimar is to high... lol) but basically, if sweetspot fair, bair, dair (spike lol) fsmash, upsmash. you can rack up some INSANE dmg escipally in conjuction with dins fire. Almost all these moves can kill when sweetspoted as well.

im really tired so i may update later, sorry of horrible grammer.

Are you saying she has more potentiol than potential?

Bad jokes aside, she indeed has potential, just not enough.

She won't ever be high tier, but yes thier is potential for Zelda to be competitive in tournaments.

yes zelda has plenty of potential but tiger idk what you are doing or thinking when you say she fails at racking up dmg she is very good at racking up dmg. on some characters she is better then shiek at it, the only real advantage to using shiek if you are a zelda main is that your moves don't lose power so it is a little easier to kill with zelda

LOL
random person says: "my brother beat me, therefore this character is super good."

I three stocked my little cousing with CFalcon, I sweetspotted a lot of knees.

I guess if I just keep sweetspotting, I'll 3 stock Mew2King in no time ^_^

^ LMAO!

Zelda definitely has the potential, but she'll be around mid-tier since she has issues when her fights go to the air (even though that's where a lot of killing power is). She doesn't exactly have much aerial priority unless she were to sweetspot or use Uair on someone attacking from above.

There is no aerial priority, It's just who starts their attack first right?? 0_0

i have endless discussions about this with my friend, who keeps using priority references along with aerials. Aerials don't have priority. Zelda's issue in the air is range and speed, is all. And maybe people recovering from sourspots fast enough to smack you.
