Seriously I think that the Zelda anime series is overrated.

Link is drawn horribly and Zelda looks conceited. In fact none of the characters look like the real thing. The story line are like gay fillers to please the need to see more Zelda for the Zelda fans. I'm a Zelda fan but this show is just embarrassing. I searched the internet and found videos with them trying to make a Zelda cosplay but It's more badder then the anime. I think it ended too short, I remember seeing like twelve episodes, (I think it's more but not a lot). I think the Mario cartoon got to me too much to tell.

Whoops my bad, I misunderstood OP's post. But again, that show is actually a cartoon made in America to promote the video games.

Its not an anime and was made in the late 1980s or early 1990s.... I don't remember. Get with the times sir, and stop looking through the basement of Zelda lore. Good day!

If the thing was going to be an anime it would be in the style of OoT or Twilight Princess becuase those two are full of the typical Anime looks. Heck A LoZ Anime would have to be based on those 2. Plus a OoT A Link to the Past, Oracle of Seasons and Ages.

Maybe you should rename this thread of Zelda Media, and not the Cartoon, mostly becuase there are more Non game Zelda stuff than the cartoon.

You see, the Zelda cartoon was just that, a CARTOON, not an anime, which as someone else said, was used to promote video games. However, the cartoon makers made a poor decision to tackle this project the only way they knew how....a He-Man ripoff, which was also popular in the '80s. Now, voice actors in cartoons back then were also corny sounding. The character's looked like they'd been hand-painted, another red flag for an 80s cartoon.


But I think we can all genuinely agreed if this were a Japanese anime in the present times, it would be amazing.
