Youtube videos won't play anymore.

I opened up a Youtube video and...

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. "

I downloaded the latest flash player it linked me to and the "if you can see this animation, it worked" was displayed saying I have it downloaded. My friend linked me to a question and answer page about it and I followed the instructions to enable Javascript (it was already enabled when I checked.) However, when I go back to Youtube it still displays the same message.

Any advice? Thanks, in advance.

Do you mean x out and open it again or turn off my computer and start it again? I did both and it didn't work. It's strange though because I can watch youtube videos as long as I'm not viewing them as a page on the website.

Restart your computer

use another browser if that doesn't work!

what is your browser? if its internet exploder that could be the problem.

EDIT - i would suggest opera or firefox.
