(Seriously though, that would hands down be the worst decision ever made in a Smash game

It'd make up for Sakurai being an idiot and not revealing any newcomers. Your reaction if Sakurai wanted to cater to competitive players instead of the game's focus and removed all unique hazards from all stages and items? Oh, and now the special moves have to be done like in Street Fighter, and all of the recovery moves are mapped to the obscure, impossible-to-get-right Z-shaped command on Street Fighter.
