Grab and Throw
Grey Fox Assist Trophy (Not bad, I liked it, :D )
Lucas Special Moves (Not bad, Ness being deconfirmed is LIKELY)
Norfair (Cool stage, maybe Ridley's Stage? Or his Boss Stage?)

Counting out some of the earliest updates, I feel like this was the most lame update week ever. Then again, they can't all be so exciting, makes me glad SMYN's Rundown was cut down.

Don't get me wrong, updates are better than no updates. I just feel something epic might have been nice.

With the Norfair update though, I think Ridley's status in the game might be confirmed soon. Next week hopefully. I think he'll be a boss, but I'm with everyone else hoping he's playable.

Good Luck writing material for this one Youko, glad there's the Roundtable.

Also, can we keep this thread about, the topic. Instead of posting about the ill integrity that you think this thread might have.

something interesting you'll notice is that starting from last friday, we got one of each type of update.

Well hopefully next week will be more awesome/shocking updates. I think a lot of people agree with me about this week.

Youko will talk about...Ness being deconfirmed?

I thought it was a fine week - it seemed to be building up to something epic - until we reached the Lucas the ***got update.

I'm more pissed about the number of "things you already knew" updates we're getting on their own. DK Makes His Stand, Meta Knight's Final Smash, On-Screen Appearances, and now Norfair. I understand this stuff needs to be updated and that some people may not have seen them, but THAT'S the kind of updates that need to be double updated.

It feels like they're building up to a double character week next week, with how overdue we're getting. But I'm honestly seeing another character draught coming.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick up Galaxy (and possibly GH3) early in the week so I can just blow off the updates for a while, because it's getting to the point where I'm getting seriously stressed over them, and that can't be healthy.

something interesting you'll notice is that starting from last friday, we got one of each type of update.
What? We got two How to Play and two Item updates. That's like saying we got one of each kind of update in October. It proves nothing.

Lucas isn't gay.

He's bi, alright? Let's get things right.

The Lucas update really has spawned an absurd amount of discussion/petty argument. I'd say it was a pretty rad update, but I'm invested. Otherwise, this week was somewhat...weak.

Hopefully we'll get a char in a day or two.

This week was pretty bad compared to others but, as long as we get something I'm happy. Gray Wolf + Norfair opens up lots of possibilities such as Ridley and many 3rd party ATs and maybe another Metal Gear character? iono. Yeah disappointing we didn't get something jaw dropping this week. We better next week!!!

The only thing that's aggravating people is the 'No s***, Nintendo. I know this already' approach.

But look on the bright side. people. We got 7 updates. But still. that doesn't make up for the lacklustre performance by Sakurai this week. I was happy to see Norfair up today, because I couldn't really make out what was going on in the gameplay videos, but that pod is interesting. But nevertheless, Luigi's gotta come next week :p Or at least a bit more SUBSTANTIAL SSE info.

Have we gone 2 weeks without them revealing a character before? I remember back when we went a week without one and we all flipped out, and the next week we got two characters in one week. Now 2 with a lot of crap and stuff we already know. It's obvious that the new release date has taken each week down a few notches in coolness. If there isn't the most awesome of all character updates next week, then we can expect to see a lot less characters in the game than we thought.

You didn't even wait for Friday's update. What if it's the best update ever?

Why do you people complain so much?

I swear you guys are like spoiled children.
Why not complain so much? I mean, this is a forum, and people can congregate and discuss their opinions on Brawl and it's updates. If you like to call it complaining then alright, but you posting that is just complaining on a same level. Albeit in a way where you're not actually adding anything productive about the threads actual topic.

This was a ****ty week, and everyone knows that. In my intial post, I said the good and bad things about this week. All I was saying is that out of ALL the update weeks, does this week's have the least intriguing information?

Hopefully you can see the mixture of positive and negative comment. If you take that as complaining then maybe you should open your eyes.

I only find them annoying due to the people who like to ***** and moan about "Bad Updates" in 10s of threads immediately following an update every time something "old" or isn't OMGROXMYSOX is shown. But that's just me, do carry along.

Why not? Hm, maybe because... it doesn't matter?

You're telling me, that it doesn't matter whatever the updates are for any week.

Confirm for me if that's what you mean. If you seriously think that, then okay, but to some people (The ones who are interested about new info on SSBB, you know, the game that they come on this board to discuss) it does matter.

So what you're saying is that, neither good NOR bad updates mattter?

I thought there might be a "update drought" after Sonic, but I was surprised with DeDe & Stage Builder. But still, its bound to slow down some . . . just think of when Luigi, C. Falcon and Gannondorf (that'll be pretty cool actually) are announced. It'll be nice to see them confirmed but they will push back the announcment of other brand new characters. It'll really kinda suck if we get all of those and Jigglypuff in a row, that could be over a month of updates without a "new" new character. just a thought.

the updates now seem to follow a similiar feel to them.

one week is mostly updates that we know and then the next week is some decent updates (though decent is in ur opinion)

so this week wasn't so bad but next will be better

Average week to me.

My logic.
Awesome Update: F*** Yeah! the rest of the day is made better by the update.

anything else: Meh, I go about my day as normal

Just remember that there will always be an update the next (week)day, and if there are no more updates then you probably have the game.

I feel that this week's updates were an absolute outrage! TWO WEEKS without a single character! You would think that after last week with nothing, we would have gotten SOMETHING this week, this weeks updates only made things worse between the Ness/Lucas debate, while everyone else is waiting for chracters.

BEsides that, I still want to know why Sakurai is hiding unlockable veteran characters!! This includes C.Falcon, Marth, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo! All those characters in those major Veteran support threads out there! But Sakurai is hiding them for some reason! Does ANYONE Have an idea?

Where's Fox's movie?

Well, I think this was a average week. Grab and Throw we already know, it was in Melee, Items, yeah, ok, just a picture of a new item, Grey Fox, uhm...well, i don't like it very well. Ok, it confirmed 3rd party ATs. But why Grey Fox, can't they do Liquid Snake or something? Lucas deconfirms Ness(not exactly), he has cool moves, though, and Norfair rocks, but the most of us already knew that.

well you have to understand they can't just give away all the game secrets before its even released

that and the release was pushed back 2 months so thats like 40 more updates to do
im sure they're stretching it kinda thin because of that

This week was too emotional for me. Ness. u_u..

Aaand this "drought" makes sense. They'd get boring if a new char was shown everyday. and everyday for 90 more days means a lot of characters :O!

As much as I appreciate your pity on having to do a podcast revolving around these updates, there really is no need to make a new thread complaining about updates.
