What is your finest Video game moment...

It can be from any game, for any console, including PC/MAC.

For me, I have three (all multiplayer), you guys can decide what is most impressive (I personally say it's my 7 hour epic online battle on Empire Earth)

1. In Empire Earth for the PC (remember that game?), I was all but defeated, but I loaded up a large group of marines on one boat, a group of citizens on another, then proceeded to wipe out the enemy's base with the marines and rebuild my country on some other island with my citizens. I then proceeded to mop up the other guy's remnants. (The game took, get this, 7 hours.)

2. In Smash Melee, I was facing two friends (1 vs. 2) with Items on and a stock of 6 on Pokemon Stadium. I was Pikachu, they were Link and Kirby. At one point I was at stock 2 with both of them at stock 6. I won (let's just say it involved a home run bat and some well-placed Bdown attacks).

3. Battlefield 1942: On the Midway map, I brought my American aircraft carrier right alongside the Japanese aircraft carrier. Didn't really do much good, but the pirate-style fight that took place was priceless.

I was as at a local Melee tournament about a year ago with my friends, and out of about 40-50 people I reached the final 16. The finals of the tournament were played on a huge wall behind the comic store it was taking place in, with the game displayed by a projector. It was epic.

My first round of the finals was against my girlfriend's ex-boyfriend, another avid smash player. I was Peach and he was Captain Falcon, and it was such an epic fight. The whole crowd was into it. I barely won by employing some sweet aerial tactics and using turnips as decoys. It was my most memorable battle in Smash yet.

Must've been when I defeated the Season Leader and Daily Leader (same person) in Mario Strikers Charged with results like 7-1. I was quite proud after that, I have to admit it.

I've had many moments:
Pokemon Puzzle League: I finally defeated Gary and Mewtwo on Super Hard.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Master Quest: Finally slayed Ganon, finishing the game.
Super Mario 64: Getting all 120 stars.
Yoshi's Island: SMA3: Got a perfect 100 on all stages with only 34 Yoshis.
SSB64: Clearing my first no damage run on Very hard with Yoshi.
Starfox 64: Acquiring all of the medals and unlocking the soundtrack.
Coming Soon:
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence: Getting the Foxhound ranking.
SSBM: Clearing All-Star on Very Hard with no continues with all the characters. I'll post video proof when I get the materials I need.

Probably when I was playing this guy online on Mario Strikers Charged, and we went into sudden death since no one had scored a goal. The match extended at least five more minutes with some pretty close shots.

Finally, I charged the ball a bit and passed it to Bowser Jr, who jumped head first in the air and hit the ball, scoring a pretty nice goal.

It was pretty awesome. The downside is that the guy disconnected after that. =/

Beating Metal Gear 1. My thumbs were killing me, but I felt renewed. Also introduced me to the greatest series of all time.

Probably when I beat all my friends in a match with Pichu, not due to fighting, but because the stage (icle mountain) and falling items killed them before they killed me.

Last Friday, when I beat the level 5 cpu opponent in Tetris DS.

May sound pathetic, but I thought that computer was ****ing impossible, felt so good.

edit: Also the time when I won a 4v1 in CS:S on Iceworld, that was pretty awesome.

I got another one:

Beating Star Fox 64 when I was a kid.

Needless to say, I was so proud I actually marched alongside Fox, when he does that at the ending cutscene.

I'll never forget the FFA Melee match I had with a few friends earlier this year. I was playing as the Doc, there was a C. Falcon player and 2 Samus players. We picked Hyrule Temple and began fighting. About half way through the fight, I found myself in the middle of the air about to land on the ground, when suddenly both Samus players shot the fully charged beam at me (one Samus on my left, one Samus on my right). Still in the middle of the air, I caped both beams with one cape attack and I ended up KO'ing both Samus players. What an epic win.

I was Fox, my friend was Samus. My friend was a good aerialist, so it was difficult trying to shine him to his death. We were both on our last lives, and it was an epic aerial battle that I'll never forget. There was much Shine JC'ing and Sweetspotting, and for some reason we just couldn't get each other killed. It went on for two minutes.

Eventually, I caught him at just the right time; I shone him then JC'ed when he thought I had no second jump left. The edge was too far up anyways, so I Nair'ed him to his death offscreen.
It was the most intense aerial battle of my life.

I remember when i was around 6-8 and there was this program at the YMCA. It was basically a day-care thing but with loads of kids. I remember me and a lot of my friends having are gameboys with pokemon games. We did all kinds of stuff from trading to battling to glitching to starting new games. Basically that whole time was the finest video game moment. Lol i remember i made around 5 dollars selling cloned pokemon at 25 cents each.

- Winning 4 national championships in a row in NCAA Football

- Getting to Level 199 in Columns with a score of 23,000,000+ (play time of at least 12 hours)

- Getting all 16 badges and over 100 Pokemon (yes, its only half, but I still feel special) in Gold (and catching Lugia and Ho-oh)

- Beating my friend's Lv. 100 Mewtwo with 6 level 50 or less Pokemon

shine spiking wife and j a total of 7 times in one teams match.

finding a little hill in sidewinder that lets you walk off the cliff without taking damage on a CTF game with no shields and permacloak, so i always bypassed the opposing team's guard.

beating metroid fusion in less than three hours with 100%.

Probably getting 2nd in a local melee tourney with 85 contestents, and beating Ocarina of Time when I was 7 years old. I've obviously played the game since then, and I knew I had beaten it cause I remembered everything. Oh, and in one team match I double-shined spiked my opponents (two at one time, yeah thats how I roll, lol).

I remember doing something along that lines with Falcos Shine. it's always awesome when you can destroy someone with their own attack haha

Props fo sho

I also remember one time when a friend of mine (who was link) were on a team against a Captain falcon and a marth. We ended up destroying the marth pretty quickly and had some trouble with cap, but I ended comboing the crap out of him and grabbed him and used the d-throw to shine combo and right when he was in the air, my friend jumped up and Up-b'd him without missing a beat and knocked his @$$ out of the ring. It was truly one of our finest team finshers

Some pretty interesting moments, a lot of them have to do with SSB as well.

For me I'd say some of the ones that stand out are:

1. Defeating a Lugia in Wi-fi with my Feebas on Pokemon Battle Rev. (Feebas @ Focus Sash with Rain Dance, Hypnosis, Waterfall, Flail) And in general just doing very well with inferior Pokemon. Not necessarily winning with them, but just doing well.

2. Prank warping people in Ragnarok online (when you use the warp skill, when you click on a space for the portal to open up on, it shows you charge the spell, and then after the animation, a menu pops up and you choose the destination for the warp, click ok, and the warp opens. Insead of clicking ok, wait for someone to walk by and sit down on that space to rest, click ok, and then they get warped to some out of the way map. A little mean, but I thought it was funny).

3. About a year after Halo 2 came out I resigned from shooting in the game, switched to boxer controls, and only used melees, grenades, and splatters to kill people (and the rare instances I got the sword I would use it). I don't know exactly why I did it, but it was more fun for me at least, even though I generally did worse. Anyway, about a year ago I went with my then girlfriend to one of her friend's houses were we stayed up all night playing Halo and SSBM (her friends were mostly guys, and they were all pretty good at Halo). We had a free for all on turf, and I compltely whooped their butts, they didn't even realize I hadn't fired a single shot, then in the post game report one of them noticed my shots fired was 0. All at once everyone started freaking out. It was my best game of Halo ever, and I loved every second of it because generally I'm horrible at Halo.

My most favorite video game moment? The Celes attempted suicide scene in Final Fantasy VI. ****, I got rewarded for not saving Cid, lol.

My most awesome video game moment? Beating MAX 300 Heavy in high school. I doubt I'll be able to do it again tho, I'm out of shape.

EDIT: Whoops, Rubik's Cube isn't a videogame.

In Melty Blood AC, I pulled off a 23 hit combo as Red Arcueid and finished it with an Arc Drive Finish while in the midst of figuring out the games physics. (I can do the same thing now a lot easier, but it was cool at the time)

Beat my older brother in Smash, which I've done quite a few times now, but about a year ago, he beat one of the top people in Tucson, AZ (supposedly)

Time i realized i remember 90% of all video discussions of Metal Gear Solid 1&2&3 and God of war.

Second best might be time i finished Snake eater for the first time or when i realized how awesome smash was.

My new favorite moment of all times will be Brawl and Metal gear solid 4 will be released.

There are just too many GREAT moments when im playing video games just impossible to name THE Best but those 2 are the greatest i think.

I just remembered my 4th Video Game moment:

Catching/evolving all 151 original Pokemon. Of those, ONLY Mew came from a gameshark (and it wasn't even mine, it was the result of a friend using a game shark and catching multiple Mews then giving me one). I can still remember the last of the 151 I got: Vaporeon. I was only like 11 at the time.... and the fact I have come nowhere near "catching them all" since is proof how hard that was....

Mine was probably getting smash.my Gamecube:
It was July, the year it came out(I think, I was about 7 at the time, maybe 8) and we were going to buy a used one off this guy, and he said once he got back form his trip we'd go there and buy it. The night he got back we called and he told us he already sold it. I was upset. So then, my parents took me to Circuit City and for 150$ we got A Gamecube, Wind waker and Smash.

Probably playing minesweeper on the small mode and having it solved in 1 second because it solved itself after I pushed just one button.

I literally jumped back from the screen and emitted a small yelp. Apparently it's not that uncommon, but I thought I was insanely lucky.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

A group of local players were holding a friendly tourney, and I, being a ridiculous JoJo fan, opted to join and maybe win it.
I breezed through the first few rounds of johnners who said they'd trash all the "toy players" that were participating.
It came down to the semifinals with myself playing a fairly mean Anubis Polnareff against a pretty ill Midler player, who managed to get 2 up on my 2 wins, putting us in a tight spot, with both of us trying to make the 3/5.
I had lost the first match of the final set, and had taken the second one for said set, and on the last match he pulled out good ol' broken Midler combos, taking me to virtually no health, despite all my attempts at turtling, so I finally switched to the offensive and managed to get in enough hits to take him with a quick combo, and for whatever reason, predicted Midler's low super, so I decided to jump, and in doing so, avoided the oncoming low super that followed (epic prediction...), and hit Midler with a jumping lp-to-crouching lp for the win.
Everyone got up and some almost threw their beers down and shouted some swears and whatnot in disbelief and then proceeded to lay me out and tell me how effing raw it was.
I ended up losing in the finals to a rawwww Shadow Dio player, but at least I lost with dignity, and managed to take that insanely cool semifinal win with me.

Heh, it looks like JoJo players aren't too friendly. If someone did what you did at a Smash Bros. tournament, you'd be hailed as a hero. Congratulations on your semifinals win, though.
