Runners up:
Miciah. I doubt this but at the same time I feel it is necessary. FE's popularity is growing and can grow even more. And they should take a page from Melee and use Miciah to promote FE10. As she is the heron/lord. Having a thief/Mage would also be quite different to an original swordfighter.
10. Megaman. I know it's weird and I know it's rough, but looking at what Capcom has said about Nintendo in the past, and I can't remember the last time we had a good megaman game, and i'm really not sure if Capcom would even consider begging or giving us a chance, as much as I hope to believe it could be true, I just have small doubts.
9. Sonic. Just recently after seeing fake pictures from a good photoshop mock up. It came clear that maybe Sonic couldn't work well in a Smash Bros. arena. He relies mostly on speed, that and the fact that Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is already coming. Sure there are loopholes and gaps. But basically what we're believing in the end could be all for nothing. Those little hints we think we find everytime Sonic for Brawl is mentioned to a game creator. Sure Sega and Nintendo are on the best of terms, but is that enough to give us one blue hedgehog in what could be one of the best fighting games of all time. Plus they really would of announced Sonic by now I feel. It's too close now. We got 3 months left, if Sonic is in, then Nintendo and Sega have done wonderfully in keeping this bombshell a secret.
8. King Deedee. Metaknight is already in. Seeing another Kirby enemy is very possible, but it's almost playing favourites on the bad guys and Kirby is outnumbered by the looks of this. And seeing Metaknight ship in that "This World" update. Kind of says that Metaknight is only in. They would of had King Deedee around there too right?
7. Black Shadow. Seeing Samurai miss out, I kind of fear the same for Black SHadow. Though I reckon he could prove off a good moveset I just don't think I can just recognise him fighting. But in a way I still can. I'm just stuck on his moveset. All moves for most characters have managed to come from their franchises or certain cartoons.
6. Wolf. We need a StarFox bad guy, more than a side kick.
5. Krystal. More Females will be nice, plus that rod has a ton of potential. I also reckon she'd be pretty fast and could mesh well with other characters.
4. Lucario. I don't know much about Pokemon, but he seems popular, and he looks like he can actually fit with the cast.
3. Ridley. Samus needs a nemesis, and Dark Samus feels too original and boring.
2. Ike. The most overrated, overpowerful Lord ever. But also a nice favourite and could be a great player for FE fans and other new people wanting to join. Could even do what Marth and Roy did for FE. He has not only popularity but the skills too I feel. And be a great smasher and a nice replacement for Roy. And this could promote FE10. and FE9 if you want to go back in time.
1. Diddy Kong. I have a fear of him becoming an assist. He's secondary to DK. Then I remember he has been showing up more and more in Mario games. He's not a sidekick in Super Mario Strikers. He's a captian. He's a Kart Racer. He's playing golf. He's good as gold. He's going to be a fighter for sure.
