A cry for attention.
This is a cry for attention? Yep. You are completely right. I'm doing this solely for the fact that I would love some recognition. You found me out...

Come back to me when you can speak in a mature manner.

And for another update on the podcast, tonight round 5:30-ish I'll be posting the trial. It's 99% done. Look forward to it!

I think this is awesome. Is there some kind of one-podcast-per-forum rule? Personally I've got plenty of space on my iPod. Afterall, SMYN just talked about all the negative commentary they got when Youko put up the idea. I think that if you can make this work, that's awesome. I'll listen to every episode. To be honest it seems alot more promising than the Smashcast (Yup, all four episodes of it.)

I support 'ya in this, Frog.

It's up!

It's a pretty short episode clocking in a about 5 minutes but really it's only a trial so you guys can hear what I sound like, find out what's in store for the podcast, and all that jazz.

For a trial episode that I recorded and edited within a matter of about a hour last night, I'd say this turned out pretty great.

I hope you guys enjoy! And of course, give your comments.

Im for this as well it looks good since SMYN is a NEWS podcast, this would be a great way to inform people about the competitive scene of brawl which SMYN doesn't get into great detail of.

Oh and btw the link is broken..

Yeah, I should've stated, this was recoded for iTunes and iPods/MP3 Players.

It should work on esnips though.
Yeah, I just listened to it.

Pretty nice quality there, though, I could hear some of the "blowing into micness" so try to keep your mouth not so close to the mic. Just a little away from it, sound waves travel far you know. :p

Anyway, I can tell it's going to be promising. I also liked the "INTERVIEWW!" part you said, it made me laugh a little at how you said "INTERVIIEWWW!" Kinda like how some talk show host on the radio would say it.

it was really good. it seemed to be more down to the point in comparison to SMYN. not that i ldont ike SMYN, but the way this is set up is definately different. so far it sounds like an interview/news type of podcast which isnt a entirely a bad thing. hopefully you and ur guests on the next episode talk a bit more freely and comfortably. overall, i really liked what u had. ur voice wasnt annoying and i can definately imagine listening regularly. as for music suggestion, i have no issue with what u have, but the SSBB menu 1 song i can imagine being a good theme

That's a fantastic review. HAHA. Shounen Heart I love and the Metroid Theme is cool too but, have any suggestions?

Also, I'm so happy that everyone is loving this. And all the comments about my voice are really making me feel great about myself.

Wow, just to be mentioned in the same breath as SMYN is a HUGE honor. Seriously, those guys are my idols.

And as for the music thing, I didn't choose Menu 1 solely for the fact that it is SMYN's theme.

Quality: A
Music: F

Srry didnt know the tunes and they weren't really appealing.

I don't really like how this Sariku guy is putting you down.
I don't see how this fails?

This is pretty good.

Here are some things that can help it, don't HAVE to use:
- Add some faint yet noticeable background music while you talk (maybe)
- Get noticeable and more catchy music, possibly suggestions from Smash World Forums

Fantastic Suggestions thanks.

Also, I love how there's another "competitive" pocast going on now that is literally taking all of my ideas, haha.

Honestly, I see it as a compliment.

I just finished watching this, and I have to say, Bravo! ^_^. Seeing some competitive smashers is nice, can't wait for more!

As for music, maybe find some good Nintendo tunes that you can find in the smash composers thread.

Next time you have a written interview, let me on the show to read the guy's responses.

Also, just as a reminder, bballstar wanted me to post this important anouncement:

All listeners of You Must Recover can submit questions to FrogButler that you want answered by PC Chris and HugS on next week's episode. Along with being in-depth and technical, we still love to hear from all of the members of SWF.

Shonen Heart is a great song. The content was also interesting, though it's mostly the same as what M2K says in his posts all the time >_> I'm really looking forward to hearing HugS next week.

Liked it alot, I'm looking forward to the interview with HugS and PC Chris. Just one suggestion: If you're gonna make this into a long-term deal (which I'd love to see), I'd suggest getting a domain of your own or utilizing some other method of getting an RSS feed out there, so that we can subscribe to it via iTunes/other PodCatchers. I'm pretty sure there are some easy, possibly even free Podcast hosting methods out there, as that would make it alot easier.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the rest of this, sounds great!

I wouldn't even worry about it! Just let the copies keep going, they're not gonna be as good as what you've done so far.

Seriously, that other one is such a BLATANT rip-off. Seriously, am i the only one who noticed this?

If you're talking about P2W's podcast, its first episode came out before this thread was made...

oh well that isnt too good, but it shouldnt matter too much, people will decide which is better or if they like both after a while

but good to know anyways, so nobody go ranting on P2W's podcast!

prob when first episode starts
Actually no, I'll probably just ask a mod to turn this thread into the official thread.

So yeah, if your a mod and you have editing power, please change the title of this thread to:

YOU MUST RECOVER!- Podcast Discussion

Thanks in advance, and wow, I'm really getting a bunch of PMs on suggestions and questions. Thanks a bunch. I'm glad you all love my podcast!
