Also, Wolf's Dsmash is literally immune to shield grabs from the vast majority of the cast. It's difficult to punish on block in general. Not bad for such a fast kill move. That is all.

Not what I was talking about, though obviously it would be punishable in that situation. The point is, when regularly shielded Dsmash is hard/impossible to guarantee a punish.

No, by the time the Dsmash ends you can roll away to avoid any dash grab attempt. Dash-Shield Grab MAY work. Try it.

No he's not. Wolf can safely Dsmash Mario's shield while being right next to him. And if Wolf shields any of Marios smashes he gets at least a free Fsmash. Wolf's Fsmash is easily one of the best universal punishers in the game.

Mario can shield-grab wolf from point blank if the dsmash does not hit square on. And if Mario stuttersteps his fsmash it can hit Wolf easily, even after he has been pushed away. If Wolf shields Mario's dsmash, then Mario can still hit Wolf with his fsmash, before Wolf can hit Mario. Mario's saving grace is the stutter step.

And that is assuming nobody perfect shield's of sidesteps or anything like that.

plus, if your right next to each other, Mario's dsmash can hit Wolf at the same speed Wolf can hit mario, so the advantage isn't all that great.
