Yoshi's second jump?

Is it renewed if he gets hit while off the edge. I didn't see a Q&A thing in the stickies, and the weekly discussion seems like it's having some user issues, so I posted a thread.

Dangit, Matt got here first. I wanted to spam some more.

Yeah, Yoshi's double jump, like all others in the game, can only be used once until an edge is grabbed or until you touch the ground.

Is it bad if I've had daydreams of continuous double jumping across stages like Bridge of Eldin?
